Hello I got Tarquin guinea pig a few weeks ago from a girl at work and he's a lovely little thing, although quite nervous as he hadn't been handled before. I am looking at getting a friend for him as I've always had guinea pigs in pairs and obviously thats what most people recommend. Now, what do I do? Tarquin is abour 6 months old and not neutered. I'm going to contact a coupe of rescues up here but just want some advice before I do! So do I go for a boy around the same age or one that is younger? How do I introduce them? What happens if they don't get on? thanks! x

Morning al. No snow here! Went over to see my godparents yesterday. They live just north of Newcastle and I havent seen them for about 4 years. My godfather was diagnosed with cancer last year and I was worried how he might be, but he looks fighting fit they were showing me photos from when I was a kid in Germany, cringe My car is in for its MOT tomorrow - please can you send 'don't be expensive' thoughts as its a cost I really can't afford at the moment! Missing flyball today as have the worst cramps ever. I hate being a girl sometimes

evening all. Just got off the phone to Chris. He is in Louisiana at the mo and his accent his so thick i can barely understand him. This long distance relationship malarkey is quite good Very excited about seeing him in April, then he is over here in June. I've been ringing round about getting Molly speyed and the cheapest quote I got £210. Just can't afford it yet, so looks like another season Hopefully get some money off the ex when he sorts the house out hope y'all ok ;-)

Hey guys hope everyone is ok. I am addicted to flyball. I had such a fab time at the competiton on Saturday at Markfield. Molly was fab and Henry even had a go ( ). They were both shattered by the time we got home. Really looking forward to the summer. I have been surrounded by puppies the last 72 hours the girl that runs the flyball is a collie breeder and she had a litter of blue collies (never seen that colour before) that were going to their new flyball homes. Gorgeous. Then I took Henry to a new groomers this morning, they also do dog day care and home boarding so always good to know. They are a lovely American couple who breed setters and labradoodles so there were pups all over the place. All gorgeous but I am not tempted. Chris flew to Louisiana yesterday with work, then he is off to Vegas for a few weeks. Not bad. Then he's back to Germany in April and I can't wait to see him

I'm going to watch him as well xx

morning folks, woke up to another nasty email on FB from ex's new trollop saying I will not be getting any money when the house sells - hmmmm, ok, luv. I have forwarded it onto his mum asking if she can kindly put a stop to it. The house will be going up for sale soon, can't wait! Molly's first intermediate flyball comp tomorrow - eek! x

woohoo everything has been done now! He has chucked £50 off the rent . The new carpet went down in the spare room yesterday and it looks fab now! I've got some nice curtains and nets for the windows, so I literally just need a dressing table and bedside cabinet for my room then my little flat is commplete. Peter landlord apologised and even asked if I wanted a babygate for the stairs that go down to the front door to stop the dogs running down he is coming to fit it for me later! hehehe xx

well he phoned me Thurs evening (had a doc appt apparently thats why he never came ) and said he would be round at 9am sharp. So I got up early took dogs out and tidied up....... .......he turned up at 9:50am (alarm never went off), fixed the wall lights in the bedroom, brought the grill things for the over, removed the wall bracket, fixed the back gate then nipped out to get some lightbulbs (this was at 11am) and came back a2 hours later where he fixed the handles He forgot the carpet so will be round first thing Monday morning to fit the carpet No mention of the rent reduction. Once he hs done the carpet hopefully I won't need to see him again! Idiot!

I met Lesley a few times, she was so lovely. I've got an email she sent me on FB not long after I split with the ex in Sept. I reread it and giggled to myself, its along the lines of - time to get over it girl. I'm shocked and saddened. Lesley was one in a million and I'm so glad I had the pleasure of meeting her and becoming her friend. Rest in peace Lesley xx all my thoughts to the family xx
