glad they all came out ok, its so horrible when u see something running at u like that have been very lucky so far and apart from a bit of pinning when she was little, missy hasnt been hurt but i have often wondered what u can do if they are attacked? there are 2 rhodesians that roam in the woods here on is a big dope and the other like to stalk and pin and the owners do nothing at all, once telling me when missy was a puppy it would do her good to know she wanst always going to be the biggest! he got a mouth full straight back! socialising is fine scaring a puppy isnt xx i always walk missy on lead now as i feel safer i hate the looks u get of joggers when they see an off lead dog, and also i never want her to make a mistake and jump up at anyone and yet i still get questioned on why she is on the lead she must be aggressive they assume i aways say no just to friendly! her off lead is now in the paddock that can be closed off and u can see the entrance is anyone is coming in or at the quiet beaches xx

im back from walking missy with my friend and her new baby and her dog all going very well missy wasnt scared of the buggy like i thought she might be i was very proud UNTIL we let them offlead in the field part and was practicing all our obedience great and then we let them play and the two of then ran straight into the back off my legs knocking me flying! how embarassing prob my fault i have been teaching her through but not at speed or when im just standing there! ooops i have such a sore bottom! too make matters worse while im lieing n the floor thinking wtf just happened she lay on top of me giving great big soppy kisses xx

christmas cards, paper, little presents like keyrings ect sorry stuff is quite broad

we had exactly the same thing happen and it was on a very busy road scared us stoopid! had to grab her scruff and then thankfully i managed to use the lead as a slip lead but was very frightening xxx gla it all worked out for u tho

afternoon everyone just got my dogs trust xmas catolgue before i put in my order do people on her tend to sell this kind of stuff will wait if i can get my bits through here instead? as much as i hate thinking of xmas already x

thanks il try him with that i found a hamster specific site as well and that suggested baby food as long as it was free of onion and garlic so hopefully he will perk up a bit xxxx

My hamser Barclay is 2yr 8m and this week has really slowed down and seems a bit wobberly i have had several hammies beore and they have all just passed quietly away, any advice on what i can give him to build up his strength a bit or just fatten him up hes gone a bit size zero. im not naive i know i cant stop him ageing but want him to be comfy on his last trip if thats what we are on xx thanks for any advise

yep my mums response was " ur not leaving my grandaughter outside!" so at least i can relax and know she will be looked after now. i would never have left her locked in just though mayb some might have outside kennels i know a lot of gundogs ect dont live indoors. its just me i hate it when we go somewhere that she would love and thinking i wish she was with me but suppose she cant always be with me (more to the pity) told matt when we get married im making sure its outside and all our friends dogs will be welcome!!!!

i have asked my parents they are going to stay here with her the wedding is in banham we are going to have a couple of practice weekends first hehe so i can show them have to read her she is a trickster acts like she is starving to everyone to get treats and would have them wrapped around her paw. thanks for all your advise xxx

she would be left from 3-4.30 and then 7.30- till we have have had enough so was thinking come back and have a big walk so she was tired out and just had a good sleep in the gap. she can be a bit overexcited with new people so a dog sitter might find her a handful! i might try her with a crate would 3 hours be to long to leave her? my other option is to ask my parents to have a mini break at my house and stay here with her and just stay one nite at the wedding (only because my dad has bad knees and cant walk quick enough to give her proper exercise) i only walk hr on lead u see unless it is somehwere enclosed xx thanks tho u have given me some things to think about

i am trying to find a cottage to stay in norfolk in april with 1 dog there are plenty but the hitch is we are going there for a wedding and i am trying to find somewhere with an outside kennel so i can leave her safely for the evening, as i wouldnt leave her alone inside just in case she had a nervous chew!!! my other choice is to leave her at home with my parents staying with her but im not sure how i feel about leaving her behind? any ideas?
