  2. i have been known to have to take missy out under an umbrella because she is crying she needs a wee that bad but its raining and she wont go out! Glad its not just her! He does need a name cant keep calling him "dog" what about Mister or Chief as in "Oi mister drop that!" Tht why our is missy she was Ruby for a few days but we kept saying "Oi missy give that back!" and it stuck x
  3. Missy just got a get well card in post off my parents! as they are banned from coming round for a while yet! The craziness is seeping through the generations!
  4. ive already told Bobbie im more than happy to run around silly with them in the garden if ur abouts and tire them all out the exercise would be good for me! Havet seen Maddie since she was quite young either before Moo!
  5. goodness we could have had that either well moo is 42kg and pure rottie, we had initial xrays with our own vet which was £120 and then he refered to Rutland who did his xrays and op'd on the same day, and thats when he diagnosed the other cruciate had also gone which is what was operated on monday and while under he did the xrays so we have one more bout left in 4 weeks but thats it!!!!! Such a lot of money isnt it, missy also had to be sedated for the staple removal as she was a bit erm "naughty!" so this time she has disolvables so we wont have to go back at all hooray and i can take them but if they look to be hanging around! So after 2 legs TTA'd she will have been sedated x2 and GA'dx2!
  6. TTA Tibial Tuberosity Advancement - cruciate repair operation means they make a cut and spring and pin it so they no longer need the ligament to stabalise the knee unfortunatly my missy needed both her hind legs operating she had the first 6 weeks ago and the second on monday! griff - both our TTA's were covered on her insurance good job it was £2220 left leg and £2080 today! But thats our limit nearly reached for that condition tho x he hasnt sent the xrays yet il keep checking and if i dont get them il make sure i do when we go for the next check x
  7. the chicken is boiling as i type! although she has slept since we got back seems more wipped out this time than last
  8. Missy is home!!!!! 100& healing in the first leg so very happy with that which he said was really quick! So 4 weeks till xrays on this leg and then we are on our way cant wait its November since we have been out on a doggie walk we have got a touch off cabin fever poor moo only goes on car drives to the vets! ive asked for an email copy of all xrays so will post if anyone is interested to see the mechanics of TTA!
  9. Missy had her surgery and is doing fine had TTA and also some trimming to the cartlidge that in the vets words were "mashed" so he thinks we will see a huge change now as this would be very painful for her even tho she has never shown it! my very brave girl x
  10. on no poor Laney! Im sure with a bit more time he will find his other leg! Hes prob just doing it to make u feel sorry for him when u leave the roon hes prob like the old kit kat advert and having a little dance! Missy walked quite well quickly but that just meant she was harder in the house to keep quiet at 43kg im not lifting her on the sofa great lump has had to make to do with beds on the floor! just been such a long time since we went out was November when she irst started to limp mildly and since then its all been investigated so will be back to basic when we do go out again! anyways its here now im up so i could have a quiet cuddle with her before its time to go and all she seems bothered by is that her food bowl has dissapeared
  11. paw watch is tiring! i really think its harder on the humans! no one told missy that she was ever injured!
  12. thanks just feeling a bit , just wishing away now till we get her home again just seems so unfair shes just back to almost normal and then we have to start again. she is in bed asleep already had to tell her off for barking at the agility dogs on crufts so shes sulked off! hope to see u all soon will prob need a Benny fix he always cheers me up! il text Bobbie tm when Miss-moo is round and ok
