I've just joined Dogstar, I hope that's okay?

Yes Terri, drink arrived via email, thank you (I don't drink, LOL). I think this site is a tad complicated for this oldie, LOL. I think I've just petted your Elliephant.

I'm still not entirely following this, I'm so dim.
-
I've found it and joined, I think I've poked you Incapuppy (have no idea what that means). Thanks for guidance.
-
Oooh no, not seen a Refuge bit, real name is Jan. Thanks.
-
Still not getting what it's all about. I'll gladly be your friend Incapuppy if I knew what the heck I was doing or was trying to do!

I was invited via my email to join this by Jenson's Mummy, I think I've signed up but now am at a loss (as are a few of you I see)!

It sounds to me, and I'm by no means an expert, that the pictures were saved in a format peculiar to Kodak, most pics are saved as .jpgs or .bmps to name two. Can you find any info on the Kodak website? Maybe they've got a viewer or an exporter? Could you perhaps choose one and email it to me to see if I can open it, I've got a graphics program that can import some other types of files, might be worth a go perhaps? Edited to add that I just Googled MRW and it seems to be a peculiarity of a CD burner. MR stands for Mount Rainier!!!! I hope someone comes along to help that knows what they are talking about.

Looks like you were spot on Border Collie, I've just been back to the page and did a 'Find on this page' search and there I was (I assume it's me anyway, LOL). Thanks. Don't remember signing it though, old age.

Twice now I've filled it all in but I'm not getting the confirmation email back. I've checked in the junk folder and there's nothing there either!

Fantastic news after all this time.
-
That is good news Louise, they both look very very happy to be back home with their Mum.

I wanted to breast feed my first baby but I never managed it, the hospital were no help either. They had me in tears daily. When I had second I did succeed, different hospital and lots of help. I fed her in all sorts of places, discretely of course. Multi storey car parks, Bournemouth esplanade are two I can name, it's almost 21 years ago so I'm a bit hazy. I'm all for it.

I think I'll have an egg (or two) on toast for tea, yum. I grew up with those ads, completely ridiculous of the powers that be. Edited to add that when I saw the thread title I thought it was the Egg financial ad with the guinea pigs, oops!

So nice to read some positive news on The Refuge, that smile of Poppy's says it all really, keep it up Poppy.

Don't know if this would be along the lines of your problem Mandy although it has to do with a TV in this case. In a magazine I purchased last week there was a letter about a TV that had gone bust just outside of it's warranty. It says the contract is with the shop and not the manufacturer. The manufacturer becomes the third party. If I follow that correctly the shop should deal with it. You could always speak to Fair Trading to see what their advice is.

I didn't see that episode Kathy but the one I saw from just after 10 last evening had a fox terrier who had a birth deformity and lived in a dive with nearly 50 other fox terriers ended up with some wheels, I was blubbing a lot. I think they called the doggy Chanel because he was pulled out of the house as the 5th dog. (Chanel #5). After being rescued along with all the other dogs he had a year with a new family before he died at the age of 15, if my memory serves me correctly. It may be repeated during today. Another one of the dogs had a problem just like 4 Pawz Zippy, he was number 11 and was adopted into a very loving home. Won't be able to watch much longer as OH has cancelled Sky, boo hoo!

Can I sign without having to see anything nasty? Anyone got a direct link please? I have watched some of the Animal Planet Humane Society programmes for different states and it's heart wrenching. (Won't be able to watch much longer as OH has cancelled Sky).
-
Very very exciting, good luck. (Just as OH has cancelled our Sky subscription too).
-
Consider it done Alison, you wouldn't happen to have a link would you please?
-
LOL, that did make me laugh, £5 to the rescue of your choice KimTheCat.

I agree Raiye, the colours are rancid (is that the right word, it just sprang to mind, LOL).

I haven't seen the first one but from all accounts it flashed and was known to cause seizures in epileptics and such. Quite a few had been hospitalised after watching it.
