I have just braved it to enter the garden shed to get this picture of the wasps nest in there I don't know what to do with it! Should I get rid of it and if so how? Does anyone know anything about wasp nests. The larvae were all wiggling when I pictured it Best wishes being sent to MumOwl

Pip Polly Polly turned up in our garden october/november last year I think it was. She wasn't claimed so moved in

Whilst buying the dog and ferret food the other day I got talking to the shop lady about ferrets. Turns out she knows someone who found one in her JRT's jaws over a year ago It has been kept since in a hutch alone and not had much done with it. So to cut a long story short we went to see him yesterday and he has moved in!! He needs some building up as he hasnt had much exercise etc and Ive got to get him vaxed as they hadnt got him done (oh and snipped) but Pip (as he's now called) is a big albino hob and very friendly. He and Polly have hit it off big time and after playing for a couple of hours they curled up together in the cat bed sleeping. They have had some day old chicks to eat, considering Pip hasn't had any fresh meat for the time he was in the hutch (fed dry food) he has soon got into the swing of being a proper ferret Today they are still fine and really enjoying each others company Will get a pic once it cools down a bit

Sorry having probs with keyboard whilst trying to type! DC isnt a bad journey but very industrialized coming outta NY thru NJ Used to live just outside DC and tbh I slept most of the journeys I did - wiull say - if an option to you it really is a lovely drive we drove it when my mum came over for a visit and she kept a log using the bridges as vocal points.

Im so sorry I have missed the news of Dreams passing massive

Guinny is doing great Met up with Anne (danishpastry) and Martin (krusewalker) couple of weeks ago and we had a lovely walk over the forest. Guinny tried to put the girls in their place but all settled down and had a nice walk Still issues with separation anxiety but nothing we cant deal with. Have a lovely old man that he goes too when I cant have him with me, this guys old gsd passed away 2yrs ago and he thinks he's too old to get another dog so spending time with guinny helps him and gets him out and guinny has company to potter about with and give him treats till his hearts content

dont get on here that much - busy life getting in the way but hope all are ok doglets here are all fine polly ferret has a meeting with some potential brothers and sisters (4 rescues looking for a home together) Jazz sorry to have missed you today - have been ill due to eating something i was told was safe and gluten free but obviously wasnt and so have been half dead since sat lunchtime. Feeling better now and just washed the cars..... Now i need to decide which one to keep and which one to sell ahh well decisions decisions
