moo has eaten sausages/honey/some italian ham and some of Michaels tuna. she has so far refused to eat the bloody royal canin extra sensitive at 8.19 for 5 cans. she also snaffled some pasta i am making bovril rice with sliced chicken breast to tempt her-i dont want to over do it-but frnakly anything shes prepared to eat is good by me. if she goes now-it wont be for want of trying to stay here on her part or mine fee thanks one & all for your support-i will be making arrangements anyway-whether she makes it this time o not
  3. well Moo is still with us. OH had sofa duty last night-and im taking it tonight.... she has eaten a small amount of breakfast-but is painfully thin and very frail/shaky. she remains flat out on her bed the good news is that she has also continued to have normal poos-rather then bloody ones. fee

as most of you know i have a 15 yr old grey-Moo. whilst we were away-she had dreadful diarrhoea with Lots of blood-she spent 5 days in the emergency vet (fantastic vet-as was the kennels). no cause was found (she had tummy investigations previously-nothing found) she has lost shed loads of weight, is very frail-and frankly is really looking/feeling her age. i have the feeling that That day is not far off...... can anyone recommend a pet cremation service which covers kent? ideally i want to make all the arangements now....as i suspect i will be too involved with bawling my eyes out/drinking gin to be much help at the time... cheers Fee

    Budgie

a client in one of the units i manage is unwell and had to go into hospital. it may take some Very considerable time for him to be able to return home. he has a 1 legged budgie-currently sitting in the staff office. Realistically its not a long term solution: if X doesnt stabilise we may have to look at fostering/adopting the budgie as many staff know i like animals i have been asked to look at options. does anyone know of someone who might be interested in a much loved budgie in Kent? Probably for adoption but at least a foster for a bit?? cheers fee ps no rush on this as the client needs to make a clear decision and at the mo he is not able to
  14. i wanted to call Minnie........Daphne. but somehow she ended up as Moo my next grey will be Daphne-or Scrumptious-as in Truly scrumptious, (all sing along now) OH thinks im cracked fee

  17. i am trying-and failing to be sympathetic. OH cooked the most gorgeous veg curry tonight-we were both getting stuck in, the sound of happy munching-when he takes a bite out of the bread and then says (insert description of many physically impossible sexual positions) and produces a tooth which had broken off he then finishes the curry and says-that stung a bit but feels better now! no sense no feeling. curry was bloody good fee
