  1. Georgia looks so grown up!!! Ella!! She is fab! Poor Cheese and Pickle. I can testify it's impossible to get good photo's of black cats!!
  2. My thoughts are with you. If it was me I think I'd be ringing the vets to see if you can get her in. Might just be a tummy bug but it's worth putting your mind at rest. Hope Matthew is okay too.
  3. PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!! What's wrong with you!!!!!!! You should of taken his number you numpty!!! Steph didn't realise your mum was home again.
  4. Mine certainly won't pick their own but they do enjoy them being fed to them. Kane is master of picking blackberries though, it's lovely to see a big horse delicately picking them off the bushes!!! He also is very good at grabbing wild plums and chewing them while out hacking...the best bit is seeing him spit out the stone!!!!
  5. Some people have bull sh*t down to a fine art! I know remember exactly why I distance myself. Who was it that was buying the little island where only select Fugee's were allowed?? Can I please put my name down?
  6. I'm off to the garage. It's offical I am the worlds best exhaust killer!! 5 weeks I've owned the van and I need a new exhaust....bloody silly Anglesey lanes!!!
  7. Morning So sorry Phebe. Alex hope you feel better soon. Haven't caught up with everyone over teh weekend so sorry if I've missed anything.
  8. Great idea. I'm always scouting around for animal jobs...unfortunately nothing is ever anywhere near me!!! Anyway Blue Cross have : Assistant Shop Manager, Tewkesbury Closes 10th Sept 08 Horse Care Groom, Burford Maternity cover. Closes 11th Sept.
  9. Poor sweet soul. Loads of healing thoughts for him.
  10. I do hope this works out for your special man.
  11. Wow you've been busy this weekend!!!! Lady T has been talking to Kane...she's learning bad bad habits . J looks so cute! K9Fran, Sam is gorgeous!!! Just my type! Whoops Clare!! He's keeping you on your toes!! I'm not surprised you want Frant home, I loved having Kane at mine. I'd miss having the facilities and people around to chat to but I'd still one day like him home. Sabina is that the one we were talking about??? You lucky thing!!! I can post some photo's if you want? Had a lovely weekend, Kane has thrown a few more tricks at me!!! Took him for a lovely hack on saturday and he was fantastic, didn't put a foot wrong...until we got into the last field and he decided the time was right to remind me exactly why I invested in an expensive bit!! He threw a little buck ( Kane doesn't buck!!) and head down bolted for the gate...I think he thought I was going to ask him to turn cos I have been using that field as an anti-napping practice field! Anyway after a minute I realised he wasn't going to stop so had to put the brakes on...to which he did a sideways leap and turned and headed back up the field (durrrr away from home!!). I had a slight moment of panic and did my usual looking around for a soft place to land, and then pulled myself together and decided I wasn't falling off and he WAS stopping!!! Luckily a random sheep bolted out in front of me and I think it put Kane's brain back into focus and he stopped..okay we were also nearly in the hedge too!! I was abit shakey when I got back to say the least!!! Yesterday I schooled and someone came and put a little jump up for me, she then helped me with my jumping position (or lack of it!!) so I felt happier cos I didn't once feel like he was over jumping with me and scaring me!!! Decided with one of the other girls we are going to have a regular sunday hack, we both love hacking and have both been working on our respective horses to get them to hack alone, but now think once a week we can treat ourselves to some fun. So next week we are going to the beach, I've really missed it cos it's too far to hack alone (and it's past his old home so I don't fancy trying that alone!!).
  12. I'm off home now. Thank you fugees for being here this week, its meant alot. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
  13. Oh yes meant to say, thank you. Tiz unfortunately did get there first and may have accidentally punctured one or two in her enthusiastic taking of them off postie!!! They are lovely thank you!
  14. Wasn't all off road but it's single track lanes so I think I met 1 car. I know I forget sometimes how bad he was at the start, goes to show what abit of bottle and a little man with a stick shouting at you can achieve!!! No never heard a thing from her! I do know that poor Danny after being flavour of the month with Helen is now once again dumped forgotten in his field, I had really hoped that she had got herself together and got interested in him but it was short lived. It's makes me so angry cos he's such a sweet horse.
  15. Not that I know of, but then I'm not at home for postie. Bet they'll be well chuffed to recieve a letter. I got a lovely picture in the post yesterday from my 2 year old niece, was very nice.. although I'm still finding bits of sparklie stuff all over my kitchen!!!
  16. Blimey. Listed my old saddle on ebay and it sold in 5 minutes....me thinks I might have listed the buy it now abit low .
  17. A collegue just sent me this, I don't normally bother with silly emails but this one hit home. Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like: When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.. Take naps. Stretch before rising. Run, romp, and play daily. Thrive on attention and let people touch you. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk. Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently. ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!
  18. I have to admit I don't want it not covered either. Of course I want a change in the breeding disgrace but I think Crufts is a very valuable event and should be celebrated and enjoyed. I don't 'do' showing personally but think the agility, flyball and various rescue work shown etc has huge benefit being seen on mainstream TV.
  19. As usual I haven't a clue who most of them are but I don't watch for the 'celebs', I watch for the professionals so that's okay!!! Only problem with this starting it always reminds me of winter evenings!!!
  20. Come on Isaac...the cage means you'll be back inside safe and warm. Good Luck.
  21. Congratulations and many many happy years together.
  22. Morning Not read back sorry I've been abit lacking here recently. Loads of love to Sarah and Kevin.
  23. Wow that's a surprise. I thought it would be Sara no contest!
  24. Keep it up Reds!!! You are doing brilliantly! He's just enjoying himself...not sure I'd be jumping haybales though!! That's very brave!!! Gooster you sound like me, Kane jumps beautifully but it's me that squeeks and gets scared so stops!!! Had a fabulous hack last night, it was one of those where you don't intend on doing much but cos for once the weather was beautiful and he was really forward going and happy to be out, so we ended up doing a 2 hour hack round the lake. This is a MAJOR accomplishment as it's the furthest we've gone alone and he didn't nap once!! Had a peacock fly out at us and that just got a little jump sideways out of him, and had tractors etc and he wasn't bothered. Only time I thought I was going to have a problem was with a little JRT who decided he was going with us and followed us about a mile up the road...luckily just as I was about to turn round his owner came running up the lane!!! Once again I'm extreamly proud of my big fella.
