Same problem here with Sky, she has nibbled away lots of hair around her back end. This has been going on since her last season in november, vets thought it was hormonal, so we had her spayed but the problem is still on going. She also gets sore ears and chews at her feet. She has had a course of steroids 2 weeks ago and they have worked wonders, her hair is growing back and she isn't nibbling herself anymore. The vet has said that it is an allergy and because it started last november is more likely to be to the house dust mite and not the summer allergies. We are going to see how she is when she finishes the steroids next week and if the itching starts again they will think about giving her steroids on a regular basis, which is not great but she needs quality of life which is more inportant. Because when she is itchy she is so fed up with herself. We also give her cod liver oil twice a day and pilchards about five meals a week, and to be honest we stopped the cod liver oil tablets for a few weeks and we noticed she itched a lot more, so she is back on them for good. So i recomend them. Hope you sort out Charlies problem soon

A Little Insight Into The Phone Lines

Trying to type through my tears I live with this feeling everyday not being able to take my Paddy + Sky out for a walk for fear of them being taken from me. This is so wrong. DNB you are brilliant, owners wouldn't know were to turn if it wasn't for you. THANKYOU -
