I just wanted to share this.. my niece who is 15 has been badly bullied ar school for some time now, she is kind, clever, and beautiful, she isnt stick thin and as such these bullies have preyed upon her weight as an issue, shes very bright and again they have pulled her to pieces over this. She lost all confidence last year and went to counselling to help her through it. My Sister entered her, unbeknownst to her, into the Dove campaign for real beauty competition run by Asda a while ago, where you had to send a photo and say why you thought the person was beautiful to you. SHE WON her regions teenage category Dove telephoned her to tellher the news , they had a photo shoot in a london hotel and her face will be on billboards over the South East Region - she cried when she was told she had won! she couldnt believe anyone thought she was beautiful Im so pleased for her

my neighbour down the road has a newish baby, we just stopped for a chat and she was telling me she had started weaning her, and her health visitor told her off, the baby is 13 weeks, and the advice is not to wean till 6 months old. Is that right, when mine were tiddlers it was 12 weeks for weaning for the eldest and then changed to 16 weeks when it was the youngests turn? 6 months?

I have violent thoughts towards CJ - The best one ever was when Jade had her team of beauticians , and they all got wiped out on the head to heads, leaving Jade against the whole team of eggheads, and Jade almost kicked their arses! the expression of that CJ's face was priceless!! There were complaints about Eggheads on points of view this week, claiming the eggheads get easier questions ! Poor Sammy - Im almost sure I met him at a show last year, Im trying to find the photos we took.

My bathroom extension roof leaked last night in the torrential rain

Im always well wary of this sort of thing. I once had a call late on a Sat night from a phone provider (not mobile btw for my landline) and it was from call centre in India, the guy said I owed them blah blah it was something like a fiver!! and I needed to pay straight away, he told me all my account details address etc, because I wouldnt give details to him, and then he said he needed my Credit card details to take the amount to stop my monthly payments shooting up to 5 times the agreed amount! fishy ehhhh??? I refused to give my CC details , he kept insisting he would call back to accept payment later, so I put the phone down in the end and rang the company, who had no record whatsover of the call being made! no log nothing! and they said it wasnt company policy to ask for such a piffling amount infact it wasnt company policy to ring and ask payment at all, esp. as I was on a DD payment already and well within the recommended call zone allocation. Thank heavens I didnt fall for it and give out my card details!!! The call defo came from the company though , he had too many details for it not to be a rogue employee! Call them back and check it out

B & Q!!! good luck esp. if you need assistance from an employee! I usually get a mumbled 'idunnnno' followed by said employee slounching off to mumble to some other employee who then never returns , whenever Ive been in there and need help

RMF the highlight of my week is that a new health food shop is opening in town tomorrow - how sad is that!!

Im back from my holidays :wave: No chance of catching up on RMF. I almost got to Crewkerne to pop in to the Houndsavers shop, we were horribly lost at one point, the one place name I actually recognised was Crewkerne Although OH wasnt impressed that it was my superior map skills that located us, just that it was where the HS shop is we werent allowed to stop as we were supposed to be somewhere else ie another county

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh - one of the bloomin solicitors is driving me nuts!! She claimed this morning that she tried contacting me regarding an urgent outstanding point on a particular issue , she didnt , I have no messages from her whatsoever other than the fax she sent this morning - I have luckily managed to sort out the problems before the deadline, but am fuming she is claiming she had been trying to get me when she clearly hadnt. She is adamant she left messages - she could of course of left messages at the Court, who's number is one digit different to my direct number. I like that hairstyle with maybe a feathery longer fringe instead Gooster.
