  1. i was top and tailed at the same time : didnt know know if i was coming or going didnt feel a thing, might have something to do with the huge needle in my arm
  2. run free Joyce. everyone at rosedene will be sad but we know she went to the bridge knowing she was loved.
  3. thinking of you and joyce, i will be keeping an eye on this thread.
  4. thanks, that what i thought, it turns out it was her cat she had a phone call from someone who found him, they had removed his collar to get the number. they moved him onto the grass but when they went back he was gone.
  5. my friend lost a cat, she was told one matching his description was run over & killed, she went to the place the ct was but he had gone. does anyone know what would have happened to him, who deals with this kind of thing, the cat was chipped would he have been scanned. thanks
  6. that is the new dog lost number.
  7. if you can get onto the notice board part there is a e mail to register problems. http://www.doglost.co.uk/page.aspx?pg=73
  8. Oh poor joyce, Whatever happens though she is lucky you found her & gave her a second chance. She is happy now.
  9. tescos brownhills car park backs onto a canal. thats where the chap was. crissy is hopefully going to another rescue into a foster home.
  10. crissy seems in good spirits this morning , she ate her breakfast & bounced round her kennel her tail never stopped wagging the whole time. from what i've saw of her she is a happy friendly dog. Rosedene is a kennels in the midlands that takes in stray dogs from the sandwell dog warden.
  11. off the top of my head i'd say she's the fourth dog since joyce to come in with mange but all the others have been staffs. in fact the other isolation pen has a staffie in with mange.
  12. i think she's about 6 months she is also under weight but with a pot belly so looks like she has worms. her nails are overgrown.
  13. A chap coming out of tescos was offered this little girl for a tenner, he clocked the bloke one grabbed the dog & done a runner, he bought her to rosedene where she will get a better xmas than if she was left.
  14. there is a couple of charity shops i will try them monday. also i think theres a big oxfan sorting place somewhere i will look into it thanks.
  15. you can tell this is the first time i've posted an appeal. Rosedene does have brilliant suport from the local community, but losing the hospital has hit it hard. with 50-60 dogs all needing changing every day, the turnover on bedding is huge.
  16. rosedene always had the surlpus blankets from the monor hospitals laundry, with the winding down of that they find themselves desparatley short of bedding, they would apprieciate donations of any kind of fabric, that could be used as bedding. sheets, blankets, curtains, quilt covers towels & quilts.
  17. just out of curiosity my vet recomends a spaying after a first season my dog had hers at about 7 months, so if your going to spay before the season when is the earliest it can be done. also when is the earliest a dog can be castrated thanks
  18. hi staffilover i'm from walsall in the westmidlands. i'm a voluntear at rosedene and a helper on doglost. sheila.
  19. oh wow ian. her beautifull shepherds tail is back. of all the pitiful things about joyce when she was first bought in. her tail was what stayed in my mind. just a little bit of fur on the end. you wouldnt think it was the same dog.
  20. i have just updated my recent found dog posts. all the older ones were rehomed. i didnt update those as i didnt want them to knock any others off the front page. i admit i do post the found dogs & forget to update them unless they are claimed.
