  4. OMG!!! as some of you may know,I haven't seen or spoken my mother (or brother) for nearly 10 yrs now and have very little to do with waht happens back home in holland, but last night I spend 4 hrs on the phone with my step-sis (we have a great bond)when she told me that after my mother became a courier a few years ago ,her parrot named Charlie, was left on his own and ofcourse being used to lots of things going on around him ,he started to pick all his feathers and we all know what that means and so does she, but she didnt do anything about it and he caught some fungal infection and died as a result of this :mecry: Im really upset by this as I knew Charlie very well,he was a lovely bird and very clever and she killed him :( no wonder I want nuffink to do with her anymore nor want her anyway near my children rest in peace Charlie ,you're better off where you are now  I can not believe her blood runs through my veins,we are soooo very different, maybe I got switched at birth? thanks for listening , -xxx-

    Iams

does anybody know about the Tesco's own brand that claims its not tested on animals? these days Im using more and more products from Ecover or Coop own brand ,but my biggest personal step (too long a story to tell now lol) is that after 13yrs I switched from my beloved Lenor to Tesco's own softner ,purely and solely for the lovely smell my biggest problem tho are my cats,I can't seem to find food for them that's not animal tested and not full of artificiall rubbish but also affordable and mostly tasty

  11. wow! many thanks peeps! I was thinking the same as you guys and even asked him how all those other mums do it then ? but I think Wendy hit a point there, it seems (to me anyway) as if he doesnt like me to do this from home, there's always another excuse, such as the garage, which I have in mind to do up a bit so I can go sit in there, he always has 'new' ideas for that too ,men ,but no worries, Im a Taurus, and Im on a go at the mo
  12. Theresa,I thought that too, but hubbie thinks that because it's an 'industrial' machine,Im not allowed to use it at home,in fact,he insists Rudi, the problem here being my 'industrial' machine,if it was a domestic one there'd be no problem you are right on the rebats, I did a 3 day course on how to run your own business and was told all about that then sorry Cycas and Theresa,we posted at the same time, the problem is that I will be using an 'industrial' machine ,well according to hubbie this can cause a problem
  13. for years now Ive been trying to set up some sewing work from home.I even bought myself an industrial sewing machine. Now hubbie says I can not operate that machine from home as it's not business-premisses? Now I know I will need special insurance and tell IR when I earn more then £5.000 and all that, but do I really need to be on business-premisses to be able to run my sewing machine? (for which I may add I am qualifyed to do so Any help will be muchly appreciated (sp?) as Im almost getting desparate to make some money of my own again Vivian -xxx-
  14. Im so sorry hun, :GroupHug: run free Molly Dog ,have fun at the Bridge
  15. ooooh! I only just found this post!! shame cuz I could have told ya to please have a look on Ebay.com ,so the usa-version,as you can save yourself upto 2/3 off the uk-price!! specially in kids ,I just won a pair of Aspen/Endeavour for Joey (size US12-13) which will cost you here £25+ for only £12.25 ! and my own cotton candy caymans also came from there and saved me a tenner, this is both including p&p ,so if you like them as much as most of us do here lol and want to get more of them, have a look ,I promise you wont be dissapointed, they also do different types and colours compared to here. I got my first pair a year ago and except for my weddingday have worn them every day to the point where they became dangerous cuz there was zero profile left due to the non-stop wearing,I even wear them in the shower lol,to give them a good clean Benjamin also just got his first pair I can't take them off him ,but he looks so cute in them ,I dont wanna. We all have some fake pairs but they all seem to be having some kind of pressure-points,so we prefer the real deal ok better stop now lol ,I think you got the picture speaking of piccies ,another good excuse for some did I mention how great they are for kids? come water, come sand, even anything dog-related ,they are so easy to clean and who said they don't look cool?!?! so yeah, I LUV them
  16. sorry hun,no experience here either, just a big for you and Mal Vivian -xxx-

  19. I was thinking just the same Zico's mum, and I feel so helpless I know there's no rehoming straight from the pound but can these dogs be assesed enough to go to foster homes? if that makes sence? I mean in the case of Kaos and also Cider, there is hardly a risk of any kids or anything could come to harm? maybe somebody already asked this before but after the RDR -tread ,I really need a little break from reading loads of info in one go -xxx-
  20. many congratulations first ofcourse ! as for the rest of what you said, I fully and totally agree ,well said it took me all of last nite and uptill now to cath up as I did read every single post, including the ones deleted ,I am sure that only the ones not important to this thread have been deleted and indeed with warning in advance I feel really stuck in the middle now after what you said Carol, eventho I know you appoligised and probebly (hopefully) didnt even mean this at me personall,I do however now feel very strange about coming to the kennels again and hope I still will be able to and not let all this stand in the way of me helping you out and even maybe looked at as some kind of spy or anything ( if that makes sense) this also made me realise how several peeps posted on here must be feeling,as this is just and only DPs owner's doing :(
  21. awww ,big hug for you both hun -xxx-
  22. oooooh Billy!! :ohmy2: I only just found this :( Im so sorry hun , i am however convinced that without your absolute pure love for him,he would not be here today to fight for some more of that love you give him ,as usual ,Mal (and you) is always somewhere on my mind and can have as much good vibs and warm thoughts as he needs ,and as many others on here, Im here for you mate -xxx-
  23. Wow!! your dogs are gorgeous!! glad the tick is gone now
