How can you train an easy to housetrain dog, if you are never there? But say they are sucessful, the dog will still need several regular toilet walks a day. sun, rain or snow. Plus the children will have to go too as you can't leave them alone in the flat. It is tough when you have a young family and a dog. Children and dogs always seem to want the loo at the same time!!!! Then there are the dog hairs and muddy footprints (is she houseproud) the wet dog smell might put her off. Then there is the cost of kenneling when they have their holidays, insurance,vet fees etc. Could they afford it? Blimey, that's a bit long! Hopefully it might give you some ideas that you haven't already thought of.

Glad that the bees whose roof I took off their nest in the garden were in good humour. I didn't know they were there. They were buzzing around trying to repair the damage I had done. Sorry ickle bees.

I think it is when they are dormant. On our local radio station they have a phone in once a week about all things garden. (That includes trees).With experts that can answer your question. Does your radio station do similar? If not, get out your yellow pages and ring a few tree surgeons/local horticoutural (sp?)colleges for advice and prices.

Could I have some positive thoughts for my numpty boy Blue please. He is having x-rays tomorrow to try and find out why is is so lame. Previcox hasn't made any difference at all. The vet mentioned that cancer is found in a lot of greys. I already knew that and it is my one big fear that Blue wont come home tomorrow. If it is, it will be in his shoulder.
