K9Fran Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 Asda have an offer on their smoked and non smoked Gammon joints - 2 for £10 (2 x 1.3kg) so I popped themm both in mine, with about an inch or two of water, cooked on high for about 4 hours (meat thermometer is a boon here) - letting them chill in the conservatory over night, and will slice them thinly in the morning for sandwich ham, as my snotty kids won't eat the wet pink stuff) With even the cheaper sliced ham @ £2.50 for 400g, I should make a saving..
