Fee
10 year old Robbie, the super spaniel, has settled well into his Oldies foster home in Norwich and has already made it clear that he loves company and will shower his new owners with love and cuddles! He is rather partial to sleeping on the sofa or the bed, so potential new owners will need to budge up a bit to make room for him! Sociability Robbie is being very good with the ladies in his foster home, but it is not known how he would be living with a male dog. He could live in a home with older children, but he does have a tendency to jump up so would not be suited to a home with very young ones. Cats are off limits as he seems to want to chase them. Healthwise Robbie has a problem with deafness and it isn't known whether this has been from birth. He has very narrow ear canals and his new owner will need to keep an eye out for development of any infection. Otherwise, he is in good health, neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea-treated. Out and about Walks are a very neccessary thing in Robbie's life – he is fit for his age with lots of energy for walks and he gets quite excited to begin with, making him pull a bit. He soon settles though and is good on the lead. As he is deaf he needs to be on the lead all the time away from home and is happy to be on an extending lead for walks. He travels well in the car and happily settles down in his cage. Relaxing at home It is quite clear that Robbie loves his home comforts. As already mentioned he loves to have a space on the sofa or the bed and will need a home where someone is around most of the time as he is not very happy being left. He needs lots of cuddles and fuss and likes to be curled up close to where his owner is. Compliments Adorable, Loving, Handsome, Faithful – Robbie has got the sweetest nature, all he wants is to be loved. Who ever is lucky enough to adopt Robbie will have the most wonderful companion. If you simply can't wait to meet this fabulous boy, please refer to our Adoption Procedures for information about the adoption process. You can then contact an Oldies Club rehoming co-ordinator as follows: Email: [email protected] Telephone: 0844 586 8656 Robbie can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet him.
