one.eyed.dog
I have been thinking about this for a while. Lottie loves being petted when we are out and about on walks so I thought she may enjoy being a PAT dog. How do I go about seeing if she would be suitable and is there anywhere in Cheshire that does this?

Initially you need to register your interest on the website and then send them a stamped addressed envelope so that they can send you out an application. In the application will be an assessment check list. You can either take Lottie to your vet to be assessed (I did with Tess as she loves our vet) or you can contact the nearest assessor to arrange an appointment. It's quite straight forward, but one of my friends took ages to provide a reference (you need two) so make sure you use reliable people, unlike me! Good luck
Pingu
do the application via the pat website and then give me a shout - I am an asessor. will arrange to come and do the assessment

purple_mog
oooh - thanks for the reminder, have sent off for a pack to get Farah involved (though I do think its odd you can't use a harness!) anyway, fingers crossed
