James Lancs Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 Unfortunately due to another baby arriving in the family in September my wife and I need to re-home our nine year old Border Collie / Saluki cross Bella. She is a very pretty dog with the long hair and markings of a Border and the slenderness of a Saluki. She is an affectionate dog and very quiet around the house is used to be left on her own all day and has never showed any destructive tendencies. She is in rude good health and has no underlying health conditions the only real sign of her age is a bit of grey hair round her muzzle. I hope that someone will be able help as she was my wife's dog before we met and has been with us through babies 1 and 2 but with me working away and baby 3 on the horizon unfortunately it will all be too much for us I have pictures that I can send to people posting them on the Web seems to be a nightmare Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We can list her as a privte rehome for you if you like. If you are looking for a rescue place for Bella I would suggest contacting our rehoming team on 0844 586 8656 to see if we could put Bella on our waiting list. Hi there thanks for your help it is much appreciated I have filled in the questionaire and sent it off I also sent a few pictures to the e-mail address as well I hope we get some interest as she is a lovely dog who deserves a good home. Hi Olivea I know what you mean about the photo's they have turned out better than I hoped she is a small collie having just measured her she is about 19inches to the shoulder and about 24 inches to the top of her head. She reminds me a little of my gorgeous girl who sadly died last year - only the colouring really, Tess was a collie, but a very small one which is why I really want a smaller one. I would be interested to meet her and I know you said you work in the north east, I live in Newcastle upon Tyne - is there any chance we could meet up some time??
