Jasmine
Took the girls (and our lodger Harvey) to Ainsdale beach yesterday. Sham really enjoyed herself running round chasing seagulls etc. My great niece came along and they all had a good time. Then ice cream when we got back to car 3 hours later and not a peep on the journey home (except for some snoring). Getting some practice in for our Norfolk trip next week

GoldenOldie
Your lovely pictures brought back many happy memories of my children when younger and subsequently grandchildren walking summer and winter on the beach. The RSPCA held their annual 5 mile dog walk on the beach and over 25 years the family and assorted dogs did the walk several times. My mini long haired dachs. used to cope well until his coat got water and sand logged and would then cadge a ride in the toddlers pushchair! I now live in rural Derbyshire and occasionally hanker after my bracing Sunday walks by the sea.
