Poor dogs :(

A police spokesman said the force was working with the RSPCA to put a strategy in place, adding: "Once this is in place both agencies will identify problem areas and begin educating people about the way they treat their dogs."

That sounds reassuring - that they realise it's a human problem and the dogs - and other people - are the ones to suffer.

Alison Smith, a dog owner from Floyd Road, said: "One across the road was barking the other night because someone had dumped a car on the estate and set it alight."

Surely the issue there is the person dumping a car and setting it alight, not the blimmin dog barking

preston has long been a serious trouble spot for both organised dog fighting and cruelty,

American Bulldogs are the dog of choice and it is where the staffycross/fireside/eddr am bull puppies and mum came from in a terrible state a couple of years ago. the police called in the rspca because of the conditions they found them in during a drug raid :(

Fireside took in their father around a year later he had spent two years living in a shed before the tenant abandoned him at the address.

there was also an ebt thrown alive into a bonfire by youths a few years ago and ive taken countless staffies and crosses in awful states also from the areas mentioned

in my opinion they should take the decent folk out of there and set fire to the place :(
