ReikiAnge
I'm sure this is the one people always say to avoid, but I need to look into it as someone wants to buy one of Rob's new guitar tuition DVDs and they don't have PayPal and have asked friends but no luck there either. They're overseas and have suggested Western Union so I thought I'd ask on here. I don't have a bad feeling about the buyer, it's more that when I googled for reviews on WU, there were a lot of negative responses. Also, I don't have a clue how Western Union works - do you have to give WU your bank account details? Has anyone used it? Does anyone have any other suggestions about ways this person could make payment? Thanks for any thoughts
merledogs
I've used Western Union to send money to a Romanian dog rescue a few years ago. Just bear in mind that you have to pay to use it, I think it was about £14 to send £100 when I did it. I paid cash as I did it at a Western Union branch, but you can do it over phone or online
kats n greys
You can pay via Paypal even if you don't have an account. Without an account
melissa
Have used it once or twice at work when there were no other options! the fees are quite steep so you need to pass that cost on to your customer. The only other way is to get them to send a cheque if there bank will do it in GBP not dollars or euros, that way they pay the cost to their bank for the conversion & you just get your cheque!
