Brenda
When we first fostered I worked 5 days a week in a school and 1 night a week as a Marie Curie HCA. Neither went against us. However, you do need to be flexible and attend training, meetings, etc, so I now only work 3 days a week, fostering pay me for the 2 days I no longer work. I agree, fosterers are like gold dust and they want you!

Red Rotties
Yep the child I spoke about. I too have a child in a wheelchair, well he is a young man now, and your experience with your own child will stand you in so much stead to fostering a disabled child, you all ready have awareness of needs and goals, good luck x
