Fee Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 (edited) I've seen this dog running loose round the village two days running now - yesterday I assumed there was an owner up ahead somewhere but today the dog was definitely on his/her own and very nearly got run over, stepped straight in front of a car which was luckily going slowly and had good brakes! Unfortunately it was off like the clappers after that and I had no chance of getting near it. The dog is a border collie type, black with tan facial markings (poss some tan on body?), long haired. Looks to be oldish - not a youngster, anyway. In reasonable condition and wearing collar, possibly with tag. I guess it may belong to someone and be allowed to roam, but that's unusual here and I've never seen it around before. Haven't seen any posters or anything locally about a dog like this missing and there's nothing on Doglost. I'm going to have a walk round the area later with my dogs and see if we can spot it again.
