Kathyw
On Ancestry site the screen freezes after the first couple of pages. This is how my laptop problems started. Everywhere else is fine but on the ancestry site it still happens. I have contacted them and they say tis not their end yet it is only happening on their website. It did get better for a couple of visits but now has gone back to freezing almost immediately. I have cleared history, cookies etc but nothing helps. I have to use task manager to get out of it and it is getting very very annoying. Can anyone tell me how to stop this please? Thank you

Kathyw
I installed Java updates - didn't make any difference. I then followed the instructions ancestry gave me and installed their 'enhanced viewer'. I have just sent them a very nasty email. After installing their 'answer to my problem' the first page I went to froze.
Kathyw
Mine has been sorted now. I have to disable something when I go on the ancestry site and enable it again when I go elsewhere on the net. Also I had to uninstall spybot as it was causing lots of problems.
