Bailey is a lovely 9 year old Dalmatian who is currently in the care of an Oldies Club foster home in London. He has come into Oldies Club care because of a change in his owner’s circumstances.

This is what his foster family have to say about him:

“Bailey is a gorgeous dog who loves being around people and he especially loves children! He will sit quite patiently and let any child, even toddlers, give him gentle hugs and count his lovely spots.

Bailey loves walking and his recall is improving daily. With ongoing training he should have almost perfect recall in the future. Although we are working on his manners on the lead, he does still pull, so he will need a home with someone who is able to control him and continue with his training.

Bailey gets quite excited meeting other dogs, but he’s learning to play with them and has shown no aggression at all. When he’s not pottering, prancing or running outside, Bailey’s favourite spot is on the sofa where he’ll happily snooze the afternoon away!â€

“Bailey’s pet hate is the car. He is getting calmer and we are trying to expose him to more journeys, but if unrestrained he will do everything in his ability to take over the driving! He is terrified of crates and cages so this is not a solution; cuddles and bribery do help though!

Bailey’s ideal home would have plenty of space and a garden where he can play and he’d be very happy sharing his new home with children. He can be left alone for a few hours at a time, provided he’s had his walk, but he’d love to find a home with someone who is around most of the time. He’s not destructive when he’s left alone, but he is an absolute food thief!

Bailey loves cuddles and has so much love to give – we are smitten with him!â€

Bailey is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. He’s also had a dental so his breath smells like roses!

Bailey can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet him.

Aww Bailey - looking as gorgeous as ever. You look so happy and are obviously having a lot of fun. I can't believe he didn't know how to play ball.

You are clearly doing a good job Nikki -are you nearly a failed fosterer yet!

Hi Kate! Am trying SO hard to be strong - he is SO gorgeous thou! The best thing about him is he is so kind and lovely with children - we don't have any and I really think it would be his ultimate dream to go to a family with kids for him! He's snoozing at my feet at the mo - he snorzes like an old man!

Hope you are well! lol Nikki x
