Fee Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 As you may know, the Oldies Club stopped collecting used stamps because we no longer had an outlet for them. We now have an offer from someone in West Yorkshire to buy used stamps from us, which would allow us to resume our collection. We're very keen to do it if we can, as apart from raising money collecting stamps was a way in which a lot of people were able to get involved and help us, and also many people set up collection points in offices, schools etc which was a great way to publicise the Oldies Club. Ideally, we would like a volunteer in the west Yorkshire area who is willing to act as a collection point for people to send stamps to, then when a reasonable quantity (say a bin-bag full) is collected to arrange for them to be picked up.
