Sherlock Bones
Please can you help if you are in the Basildon/Thurrock/Wickford/nearby areas? These three beauties were stolen from Cliffe Marshes, north kent - a deliberate theft. The vehicle was tracked by the police together with another 4x4 through the Dartford Tunnel. The second vehicle was registered to a gypsy site, but the police won't say which one. The dogs, and the Land Rover they were in, remain missing. All three dogs are chipped. If you know any iffy sites in the area, or can email the poster to anyone who can put one up, please do help out. Sherlock Bones
actually.. the police have really been helpful on this one... and experience of gypsy theft shows that they look after dogs valuable to them. we expect these dogs to be ransomed back. Sherlock Bones
If they were trackng it, why don't they know where it went? They tracked it to the Kent border with Essex then traced an accompanying 4X4 to the registered address... it was a false name but correct address. We know which gypsy site that is, but not who and when visited neither car was there... or dogs.
lenabears
Today OH and I spotted what looked like a black dog, dead, on a grass verge . We are both convinced it was a dog, though this piece of road is notorious for killing local wildlife. Unfortunately, I am ashamed to admit I was too squeemish to go back to take a closer look We live very near to where one of these cockers, the black one had been spotted in the past, in Hullbridge. Please feel free to contact me for any more info. Paulene.

lenabears
Relieved it wasn't bad news for Kelly. Still very sad, poor dog. RIP Doggie, whoever you were
Sherlock Bones
Paulene even though he wasn't the cockers, we'll still endeavour to ID him. However, as a lurcher and close to so many traveller sites I suspect that perhaps he may always be unknown to those who cared. Thank you to you, though for doing just that. RIP little man.
