Kats inc
A technique that stops rainfall on Alton Towers is being proposed. Link to article To my mind controlling the weather is interfering with nature and something we really shouldn't be doing. It also strikes me as corporate greed.Surely they make enough money already? I know we all like nice weather for a day out but where does this end? Beach resorts stopping rain during summer season? I find it all a bit scary. The idea of interfering with nature worries me acutely. What do you think? Am I being daft and it's just a step forward in our technology or is it a step too far? staffymad
I toally agree. If China for example would try and work a little bit for the environment they might have less polution? I personally think it is un natural and our extreme weather is due to us humans poluting earth and mother earth is hitting back
redditchlady
I don't like it or agree with it one little bit. I would imagine in 50/100 years time there will be an impact which shows. Kazz xx

Dollyamber
As worrying to me as human/animal embryos - will we ever learn? Don't think we will learn until we end up milking the kids to get the milk to put on our breakfast cornflakes. This method has been suggested already for both the 2012 and 2008 Olympics. Trallwm farm
Its a very clever marketing ploy to get some free advertising. Apart from anything else to fire missiles or anything tangable would require licences. I can see governments doing it to keep rain at sea but I cannot imagine a theme park getting away with it. Time will tell I suppose
