selina Posted September 5, 2007 Report Share Posted September 5, 2007 I carry a first aid kit to inclusive of steriwash to wash out wounds and antiseptic and various dressings, also carry a muzzle just in case, again I haven't needed it yet luckily for me. gremlin22 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 hope volunteer and doggie are both ok, i got bitten at the kennels i work at a few weeks ago by a great dane..the owners were very concerned and asked if they needed to put him on a dangerous dogs list.. dogs get stressed and do stuff out of character for them, it's not their fault and like someone else said you can't exactly sit them down and explain whats going on to them, been bitten goes with the jobs..be it transporting, fostering, kennels or vets..
