Nelson was all slobber and used to drown everyone in it. Such a wonderful breed. :wub:

 

1 day maybe we might find a "genuine" rescue Newfie.

we just had a similar one stay at our kennels it was a marine rescue dog in training, is that the same thing

I was lucky with our Jenny (Landseer) she was quite ladylike, and didn't slobber too much.

 

Our black gsd Wolfie does it worse than she did, when food is waiting in his bowl.

 

Last summer we met the dog, he was being filmed by a German TV crew. We had to trudge across the beach and give him a pat, it had to be done, you can understand that can't you?!
