traceymcl
This afternoon, Calgacus was not himself at all. He seemed more sluggish and lethargic. He kept on wanting to go out into the garden and once outside he would squat to pee - which isn't like him. And he was stumbling as he was walking around the garden. Thinking he had a sore back (he does suffer from them from time to time), I kept him home from dance practise tonight and just took Katie. When I got home, there was a lake of blood stained pee on the floor. I'll take him to the vet tomorrow but has anybody ever had this with their male dog and what did it turn out to be? Calgacus will be 5 in June and he was castrated at just over 18 months. Tracey xx
gooster
Our springer had blood in his urine, and it turned out to be a bad bout of cystitis. A quick course of antibiotics sorted it out If it's not cystitis, it could be crystals in the bladder, which iritate the lining and cause bleeding. Hope this helps
border collie
Try and get a very first thing appointment, even if you have to be sat on the doorstep when they open up tomorrow. He could be in a great deal of pain
