Yes, you can ring Doglost up on 01302 743361 or mail details to [email protected] as our usual email has got a bit clogged up during the server changeover for some reason. We are expecting the main site to be up and running again some time today but are putting missing dogs up on the temp site and will transfer them as soon as we can.

Shop owner left devastated after beloved dog is taken

A MUCH loved dog, known to shopkeepers along a Chester city centre street, has been stolen.

Paul Sleeth was left devastated when his beloved pet, Chez, was stolen on Thursday afternoon at about 3pm.

Paul runs Fagins on Brook Street and the seven-year-old staffie is a constant companion.

Partner Joanne Trippier, who runs TP Tanning & Beauty also in Brook Street, Newtown, said Chez never wanders off. She said: “Chez sits by Paul’s side most of the day. He sometimes sits in the sun outside or goes three doors down in Brook Street but never wanders far. He has been stolen.

“Chez is well known by everyone around here. He is a friendly dog and has not got a nasty bone in his body. Paul is devastated. He has had him for seven years.

“We are doing everything we can to find him. We have been putting posters up everywhere, we have been going into bookmakers because the RSPCA have told us a lot of deals are done there, we have contacted the dog wardens and we have been driving around Chester looking for him in parks and handing out leaflets.

“Chez is a unique dog. We hope we can publicise his disapperance so much that no-one will want to buy him and so he gets returned as he is no use.â€

“Chez is also chipped and stripped. We want him returned. He is a very loved member of the family.â€

Chez is ginger, unusual for a staffie, and has a white tuft around his nose. Anyone with information should contact Joanne on 07968156125.
