Delfin Posted August 21, 2006 Report Share Posted August 21, 2006 Belle was stolen today from Maidstone RSPCA Kennels by a lady who walked in, said she had reserved her, then basically ran off with her into a waiting Range Rover. Her details are on dog lost - sorry but I don't have a photo to put on here but she is on that site. Our kennels are private boarding kennels, not advertised as RSPCA kennels, and are very difficult to find. Therefore the thief must be local although the dog could be anywhere. She is probably been stolen to order as a working dog. Please see the dog lost website & if you are local help with putting up posters etc. Belle maybe mentioned on radio 4 at 10am tomorrow in a phone in on stolen working dogs. Belle is a tan and white lurcher, not spayed, medium sized, possible crossed with a staffi. I imagine she will be moved on quickly but will keep my eyes open around here - if possible it might be worth putting an ad in the KM if not already done.
