  1. Oh Karen lots of positive thoughts for your mum.
  2. Tsk call yourself a Strictly fan, she was on the last series linky
  3. Nice shoes I ventured out and bought Night Nurse earlier which I need, I wish I'd bought a big bar of chocolate as well. NN fugees (and a pox on all of you who are pigging out on chocolate )
  4. Anorak alert - what about Jade Johnson but I can't wait until Gav gets some self confidence and starts to shake his thing
  5. Me and my cold have been tucked up in bed all day watching the miners
  6. Jules this is that cream, I can remember despairing over his pad not healing as he stood on a huge bit of glass and then proceeded to do the twist to ensure that he made a right mess of his paw. The vets kept getting in different colour bandages to ring the changes!. I also got him a Mikki boot as it seemed to give him more protection as he does stomp about Hebe cat, that's your pocket money spent. Merle I still have my cold, last night I was in bed by 8.30. Must remember to eat tonight as I woke up in the early hours feeling hungry but was too cold to come downstairs. I need Night Nurse but the round the corner shop hasn't got any Had a really wierd and scarey dream about ex - came downstairs this morning and there was a note through the door from him. I also managed to lock Dex in the garden this morning when I went to work and the dogwalker left me a disapproving note ..............I'm sorry, I'm ill, I've never done it before, he's normally asleep on the bed
  7. ...........and I know that you shouldn't laugh at men with receding hairlines, but did anyone else notice that his hair was sprayed rigid to cover his 'high forehead'
  8. Pants Jules could you bill the client and a big for Jake and his paw. Dex mashed his pad up on some glass last year and it took forever to heal, Owl recommended some green ointment stuff that really helped - it was called Ultrasalve I think, I'll see if I can find the pot I have 'the cold' my boss let me go home an hour early - i think it was the pathetic ow ow ow every time I blew my little red nose that swung it
  9. Perleeze not Storm Lee he's pub singer karaoke standard at best
  10. Well done Con, may the pottering and eating continue to improve (and not forgetting the all important poos)
  11. I was probably being fussy If I fall over and just feel stupid I want to be ignored but if I fall over and really hurt myself I want a bit of sympathy I was in need of 'dabbing' with a clean hankie and some 'ooh that must hurt' soothing type comments.
  12. 3 things Matt's hat will get on my nerves very soon Cheryl looks too orange Joe McElderry is still mediocre
  13. I'm having a bit of a time. Yesterday I was walking Dex and Fleur, they were on lead as I'd just been to next to the road to make a pooh bin deposit, and my feet got tangled up in a branch and I fell smack on my face. I grazed my hands, ripped my trousers and cut my knee and chin, there were loads of people about and not one fecker asked if I was alright. The only polite fings were D&F who waited patiently for me to dust myself off and tried to clean up the bloody bits. Today I'm all bruised, my hands hurt so much and I've ricked my back and to cap it all I've started a cold. Woe, woe and thrice woe
  14. Cher - how much backing singing did she have to drown her out. All she did was strut about and pull faces.
  15. Here does next day delivery
  16. Is he the brazilian 'slim' Demis Roussos/Bill Bailey look-a-likie I think poor Louis had already scraped the bottom of a very deep barrel with his first 3 choices.
  17. I hope that a few days at home will make Con feel much better

  22. Well done Alex, the rabbits and piggies have been on sandwich filling duties for you Good for Wispa finding some new playmates and well done Owl for being so restrained on the snogging front Had a late night yesterday as it was a colleague's retirement do, then my sat nav took me back via every country lane in Warwickshire before popping me on the A45 about 5 miles away from where I'd started, the scenic route is no fun at 10.30 at night
