No, it's not acceptable - its cretins like that that help towards the negativity of these absolutely gorgeous dogs (yes I have one, so admit I am more than a tad biased!) People see a dog chained up and in their minds, immediately the dog is vicious simply because of that fact. I personally think the people who do this to large dogs do it so it makes them look big - oh look at me, I have to "vicious" brute here that I can treat like (put appropriate word here) and he wont do nothing.... this people need a swift education about life - preferably with a large and heavy bat. The only time I could chain anything up - is if I ever caught a bar... person treating their animal like that.. then yes, I would say what I did WOULD be right! but again.. that's just me! Give him a big hug from me Gail. Lynn xxx

In february and march, I had to claim twice on my pet insurance. Once for Bliss and Once for Elsa. The claim was dealt with fast, I was kept aware at what stage the claims were at and I had cheques for the full amount (less the excess) within a month. The insurer was: Animal Friends, which is indeed underwritten by E&L. I had no problem with them at all. Lynn xx

Thank you Bebe. :flowers: Once she has the operation and it's a success (out of over 100 dogs operated on for this complaint - only 2 - I believe- have been lost due to complications) she will be "fixed". Her heart will no longer be any cause for concern and she will be able to live a normal, healthy life - as if it had never happened. Isn't she beautiful though !! Lynn xxx

Thanks Carole, that will be gratefully accepted I know :flowers: Lynn xxx

Please can you see if you can help this little puppy called Angel, she is in the care of Uk Bullmastiff Rescue. She is only 13 weeks old and has a heart problem that unless operated on, will result in her not living past 6 months of age. The operation will cost between £1500 and £3000 depending upon the aftercare required. Her story and all info is here http://z9.invisionfree.com/All_Molosserbre...showtopic=13795 Please help if you can Not all Angels should be in heaven Thanks. Lynn xxxx
