Sarah Navicular isnt the end of the world. Often its caused by work and at least then you would know its not genetic. With careful shoeing she will still have a good quality of life. We get lots of horses through here with navicular who have just had to change work load. I know its not what you would have wanted for her but its controllable and she can have a future.

Yes, I do know a dog in rescue I feel like that about. But I can't have another male here or a dog which needs serious fencing. The first thing you should do is speak to the rescue he came from. Firstly its polite as he is there responsibility secondly they could enquire of the previous family/vet and see if this is something that has happened before. It could be something that he cant tolerate or is allergic to but it probably is just a mild virusy thing and he will be fine in a day or two.
