  1. I would just say that I wouldn't recommend watching the video (from the second link), unless you are feeling pretty strong. I did earlier, and although I don't usually avoid that sort of thing, some of the footage is going to stay in my mind for a very long time. It really is very graphic.
  2. Sick! I can't understand the mentality of people.......particularly those who take their kids to watch the 'family spectacle'? The animals contained in their cages, and those performing tricks....TBH it's no different to the way animals in Zoos were treated here, and not so long ago! I can well remember as a kid (OK....it may have been quite a while ago), being taken to London Zoo, and watching Guy the Gorilla, and Elephants, Polar Bears, and the like, acting in a similarly disturbing way Hopefully, China will soon do something about their forms of 'family' entertainment (but I don't think I'll be holding my breath)?
  3. I already got sum lufferly wellies - thank you for the thought though Erm guys......what has this got to do with speying a pregnant bitch? ( a bitch I may be, but pregnant I most definately am not)!!!!

Really looking forward to hearing those words a bit later Roxie sends special 'pain in the arse' wishes
  7. Are the details on the net anywhere?
  8. Great news Stevie! Well done Zippy...whoever your new partner is had better be on their toes!
  9. This is just what I think. You get out what you put in. Have to say though that (in theory), any pup born here shouldn't have a hope in hell of being 'normal' if they relied on any of my Krew to teach them! No Ingrid, not just human Merlin loves me really....he's just not keen to admit it You'll wait a long time to see me with a handbag Jackie.......and Ingrid is better known for her cool bags!

    Blythe Update

WTG Blythe ! Hope you're home and being thoroughly spoilt by now. Take it easy for the next few days, but just don't make your mum wibble any more!!
  11. I'll vouch for that.......he just isn't keen on nail clippers! Actually, I'm also interested in the source of those (and similar) statements. I've handreared a pup or two over the years and (to my knowledge), they've been fine. Wouldn't it depend on how they were raised in the first couple of months?
  12. Really sorry to read this. Have fun at the bridge little fella'

    Thinking of you guys today
  14. Ah, but they're only offering 40% ! Anyway, your post offering yourself for $15 supercedes that! I hope someone responded to that email......scam indeed!? You're a suspicious lot.
  15. Some of you (particularly those who used to frequent another board), may remember Troy, the terrified GSD lad? He arrived here, as a foster, two and a half years ago, emaciated, matted, and (once he was inside), refused to go back out of the front door for months. Within 12 months, he went from weighing less than 17kgs, to a strapping, healthy, 42kgs (and not an ounce of fat), enjoyed his early morning walks (so long as there was nothing scarey like wind, rain, high tide, etc.) , and had progressed as far as he was going to while being here. So many times I was tempted to announce him as being a new member of the 'Krew' but, deep down I knew that here wasn't right for him, not least because despite all our attempts to help him overcome it, he remained terrified of Andrew. Over the months, I've interrigated and homechecked numerous people interested in offering this fantastic lad a home, from all over the country. None were good enough for my boy. I knew that any move was going to be tremendously stressful for him (not to mention me) , and had decided that a potential home would have to not only be perfect, but be able to offer him everything I couldn't, in order to allow him to really reach his full potential. Impossible! (many said....sure that I was setting the standard so high because I really didn't want him to go). I always say that there is a home out there for every dog......it's just a matter of being patient. Well, a few months ago, I recieved a phone call from those 'perfect' people. They passed the initial interrigation, Troy liked them, and their dogs, and after weeks of visiting them in their home (gradually increasing the length of time we stayed), and going for walks, etc., a few weeks ago he stayed with them. I haven't seen him since (and won't for a while yet.....just so he settles down), but I've spoken to his new family (who amazingly, live just a few miles away), and he is doing just fine!! So, Troy now has a new home, and wonderful new opportunities to become the happy, carefree, lad which I know is hidden inside. You broke my heart when you arrived Troy, and you broke it when you left. Good luck lad. You will always have a very special place in my heart. Have a wonderful life.
  16. If you keep cheating and trying to raise the stakes, methinks you and the wooden cat may well have something else in common!
  17. I'm sure I've got some $'s hidden somewhere Will a combination of Aussie, Kiwi, and American do? We must be able to 'hit the target' now...if $15 would make a whole calender? Does this mean that a lot entitled 'Piccies of Ian wearing nipple dust' can now be added to the auction lots?

    Blythe Update

Her liver and kidneys are OK......that's brilliant news! Friday is another day but, if Blythe really is like Roxie, on Saturday you'll be wondering why you were wibbling on friday?
  19. How big is 'big' ? If it had to be a really big bid, I think we may need some evidence that what we were bidding for was worth it? Wot happened to 'toy boys' then?
  20. You offering yourself for auction then Ian?
  21. The dog that is modelling the jumper (lot 168 - a dog's life).........looks like it's knitted too!
  22. I think there was a fairly long and detailed discussion on this topic not that long ago? Might be worth a search Ian?
  23. I'm wondering if you might be fighting Dee (SB) for it? She might just be needing a mini one to keep the HUGE one company (which she stables in her spare room)
