6 years ago today I brought Poppy home

I went and got my free plants, plus some sweet pea's and a lovely lavender plant for my dad for his birthday. After sun for most of the day its clouded over now and raining a bit

What with work and everything I've been useless at keeping up with RMF so I'm going to try harder from now on We walked into town to the sorting office to collect a parcel for Wiggle. He went to the counter with his little card and was very excited to discover it was a parcel from his Twitter pal MrKiplingWoof who lives in California Got a voucher for the garden centre - pack of 10 free bedding plants when you spend £5 so going to go over there in a while.

Evening. Busy day again but thats pretty normal these days. At least the sun shining makes the place even more lovely to be Came home & took the dogs straight to the Downs. The Rhododenron walks opens at Bowood tomorrow so going to take the dogs there. If anyone is in this area, until next weekend its free entry: "Due to the long winter and cold spring, the plants in the Bowood Rhododendron Garden are approximately a week behind their normal flowering season. The woodland garden will open as advertised on Saturday, 24th April. Admission will be free up to and inclusive of Friday, 30th" Dogs on-lead allowed

I took Bumpy to see Alison, assuming its Paws in Water near Devizes. Lovely lady, at the time basic-ish facilities but she was really patient and also a qualified vet nurse. Seem to remember being about £12-15 per session, although that would have been 4 years ago Sam, lots and lots of luck for some work for you

Oh RMF: Yesterday I treated the dogs to a Mini Milk ice lolly each. When Sofy and Wiggle were having theirs, I only ended up with one stick once the lolly had been eaten. Kept an eye on both of them and this evening, Sofy made a poo-lolly

What is it with noisy neighbours? Friday night bloke next door went to see strange neighbour other side of me. Leaving his dog howling and barking constantly up until 9pm. Then he came back and spent 2 hours crashing and banging. Gawd only knows what he was doing So far, peace and quiet here. Don't suppose it will last for long though

My Wisteria has survived the winter but the Passion Flower is looking rather sorry for itself. Hopefully it will come to life after I've cut it back Its been interesting to see the difference from 2 years ago - when Sir H arrived the Hostas were about 5 or 6 inches tall but same day this year, they've only just come through. Clearly not impressed with the cold & snow over winter.
