Thanks very much for organising this Amy - the turnout was amazing, so many people and dogs! It was particulaly lovely to see Joe (I did his homecheck and follow up) and Jess (who is completely different dog from the one I transported a few months ago)again. Thanks very much for all the edible goodies. much appreciated since we currently have no kitchen
Thank you very much to whomever Sid accompanied all the way round - I do feed him occasionally, honestly!
Won't you be 2 months early Wendy? Thought this was the BOA one,
Can do Sat or Sun, if there is not one on I shall walk around Beckampton if the lost Oldie has not been found
Oh, was just popping in to see if this was still 17th, didn't realise it wasn't
Sid (yes Sid minus hole in his leg) and I were thinking of coming along since there's no way I can do half a day's yoga since I'm still a bit wobbley following a virus.
Chippenham does have a dog warden, but I'm not sure where the dogs are held, I think they go to Swindon (Drove Road). I'm away all day tomorrow, can help out Friday afternoon (although I hope she's found before then poor girl).
Sid lab had one removed about 3 months ago, grade one with a good clear margin. We've had major problems because it was on his thigh and there was not enough skin to sew back up so it kept tearing - he's had 4 ops in total and is still wearing his buster collar a lot of the time because he's a very nibbley kind of boy. We just packed the wound with manuka honey and it's healed well since.
Has your vet recommended any further treatment or is he happy because it had such good margins?
Update to this story - Kate's mum came out of hospital and managed to track down Kate whom had been handed to MT by her relatives, unbeknown to her - they have now been reunited!
