Mayflower Sanctuary Marley finds himself looking for a new home because his previous owner has fallen ill. We have found Marley to be quite a strong willed little dog who can also be a little stubborn at times. However once he develops a level of trust with you he is very nice natured and also very loving. We would recommend anyone who is interested in taking Marley into their life does their research on the breed, so they know what the breed needs by way of grooming etc. For the right people Marley has the potential to be a perfect member of the family, but his new owners must also be aware that it may take time to build up a level of trust and respect before he allows his true colours to show. If you feel you have the time and patience for Marley please get in touch – he will be worth it !

Geisha was the look-a-likey - when Mo posted about her the similarity was mentioned and Mo asked if we might be tempted, we were, but didn't know how Sorda would react to a younger girl- especially if their temperaments were similar.

Just read the sad news that somebody had let all Mo's dogs out, thankfully all returned safely except for Geisha who was killed on the road. Sleep tightly Geisha - at least you knew a little happiness :mecry:

Just had a friend posted this to me and I thought it apt to share. The Reason (to you from all your rescue dogs) I would've died that day if not for you. I would've given up on life if not for your kind eyes. I would've used my teeth in fear if not for your gentle hands. I would have left this life believing that all humans don't care Believing there is no such thing as fur that isn't matted skin that isn't flea bitten good food and enough of it beds to sleep on someone to love me to show me I deserve love just because I exist. Your kind eyes, your loving smile, your gentle hands Your big heart saved me... You saved me from the terror of the pound, Soothing away the memories of my old life. You have taught me what it means to be loved. I have seen you do the same for other dogs like me. I went to him because I've recommended him in the past, all I can say is he's changed and he's not been helpful.

How about a 2nd hand childs pushchair, you can often get them from Freecycle or Ebay.
