  1. Not sure how much of their forum Lurcher SOS make public, but you might be able to see the knitted balaclava things here Griff http://lurchersos.pr...lay&thread=6541 or if not this is a sample picture! Edited to add that I'll happily order you one if you can't get access to the forum.
  2. Griff what size dog is Diez? Sorry I can't remember! Our local lurcher rescue sells knitted hats for firework phobic dogs - would a greyhound or lurcher hat fit Diez?
  3. For you, your mum and the rest of your family. Sending lots of positive thoughts.
  4. Fabulous! Well done both of you.
  5. Really glad that Archie and co are home safely! Hope that you enjoy your shift of popping - sounds like good fun to me.
  6. for you Cheryl, I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. Different things suit different people and having the right person to talk to as well as them offering the right therapy makes a big difference. Lovely photos San - is that a sail-less windmill in the background?
  7. Your social services work on a Saturday? I'm impressed! Some pharmacies put the pills in the dispenser boxes for you, my Grandmas tablets used to be done like that and it worked really well.
  8. You really are an international traveler! Bet it does make it difficult to pick up ordinary life in between though. I love donkeys too, so look forward to hearing more about them. Hope that Holly hands herself in soon. Hurray! Hope that old springer is also home soon.
  9. Hello Sam! Just thought of you as I used the link from Dogstar to order from VetUK. How are you (apart from overworked) and how are the Sri Lankan donkeys doing?
  10. Good to see everyone - can't find the wavey, so accept this instead I've swapped my usual Wednesday morning job for this afternoon, so that I can help answer the phones while everyone else is out after midday. It's very weird working from home this morning, it doesn't feel like Wednesday at all. Got lots done though, so that's good
  11. Miserable weather here, just right for a Monday morning! Hope the hip is doing OK Jazz - are you doing your exercises?
  12. Sorry about the car Phebe, but well done with your horse tracking skills! Which bit of Surrey should you have been visiting? Hope the op goes well Jazz and that you are soon back with us.
  13. Snow it might brighten up your day if you look at the Google home page
  14. We use Advocate for the dogs and haven't had any problems or fleas! I'm pretty sure that you can only buy it from your vet though.
  15. Well done for sticking it out Phebe and thank goodness for you and your friends keeping an eye on the animals!
  16. Congratulations Alex, well done
  17. Banner is a little star isn't she
  18. Well done Jack! What exactly are you paying for Murtle when you are asked to perform? It seems a bit of a cheek.
  19. Buy it! Fabulous picture and well done for getting 5th. It's our local agricultural show this weekend, they've only just managed to cut and clear the hay from the fields and if it rains much more it will be a quagmire as it's lovely Thames clay.
  20. Hope that it goes well today. Cooler weather sounds a good thing!
  21. Griff - really sorry to hear that you've been so ill. Good though that you've got the correct diagnosis at last and that your treatment is making you already feel better. Trust you to get a rare one! Our hose pipe ban has been lifted today Phebe - how is your ankle doing?
  22. That is going to be very odd, I can't imagine being in the house without a dog! Sorry about the abscess, I've had a few of those and dread it happening again, it really is an awful pain. I'm doing some clicker training with Fern along the road, to help with her steering issues and pulling towards other dogs. She loves the liver treats so much that in her efforts to keep eye contact with me, she fell off the kerb more times than I could count this morning! Poor girl. I think we will restrict practising for the times that she is walking on the hedge/fence side of the path
  23. Fabulous that you are in such demand!
