Hi good to see Pippin in his new home. My son-in-law lives in Petworth. He has working dogs. We are coming up to stay after Xmas. We have 2 ESS and 1 black lab.

He is at a friends being used to teach riders dressage. He can jump too. Used to love Hunting. He is too good for me to have hanging around at home with the oldies. He needs to work. I am seriously thinking of finding him a forever Private home to go to before he gets much older.

He went from being chestnut and white, to liver chestnut and white, then blue roan and white then pure white. If you get close to him all the patches are slightly flea-bitten and when he is wet you can see all his original patches, as the skin is grey and pink.

Have been lurking and reading everyones posts and thought you might like to see these pics of my cob Oaktree Benjamin. The first 3 he was 3 days old and the last one 18yrs old. He will be 21yrs in 2008. I took the first photos when I was showing him to his dad's owner and he was showing off and she said you do realise it will take years to teach him that lot under saddle. As it was he turned out to have dressage as his forte.

They look like two absolute sweethearts.

Yes I am on Springthing. The cob with the dorsal stripe is George he is a Gorran Highland. He has black tiger stripes on his front legs too. He is a real sweety. Riding him was just like sitting in an armchair. Wonderful in sitting trot.

What a very lucky little dog. She looks so cute all snuggled up in that blanket.

I have been with horses since the age of nine and was lucky enough to own my own Riding School for 20 odd years. Here are some of my ponies I kept when I closed in 2000. The foal is Oaktree Benjamin which I bred and thats him jumping, but his forte was dressage. The little skewbald I am cuddling has gone to live in France with a friend as a companion to her ex-racehorse.
