  1. will be thinking of you both tomorrow Billy your a star, wibbling yourself but yet still there for everyone, have some
  2. I don't know whose it is tbh they say theirs he says his they all paid to buy it then he (mark) paid to have the back converted into a vechicle which will take him in his wheelchair with a ramp fastening straps and everything. Mark has paid for all the insurance repairs fuel etc etc who is the legal owner...i dunno log book and all paper work is in Marks name but I don't know about bill of sale I (who doesnt drink) have just opened a bottle so will pour you a glass
  3. Thanks everyone His family won't help at all with getting J there The home he is in is the one they chose close to them - it is a very good one but is miles from us. Mark gave me his car (a 1.2 wheelchair adapted one) but they have texted me from there 8 week touring holiday in Ireland saying they are going to contact the police saying i have taken it without their permission unless I return it to the home. Its all crazy atm I have been told that it doesnt matter whose name is on the log book as that doesn't prove ownership They when they get back from their holiday are going to sell Marks car and give him £1000 of the sale to do with as he wishes - the rest they are keeping (according to a text I read on his phone yesterday ) Im so fecking mad about it all sorry, I know sh!t is hitting the fan for everyone atm, shouldn't moan but what annoys me most is that his parents both got early retirement due to the stress of having a sick/dying son then spend the whole time touring other countries for weeks on end enjoying life Thanks for the link madmerle - will check it out
  4. Thanks I did think as much and so did his family who are bugging me again
  5. quick question - does anyone know the answer please? basically if you have a court order against you saying your child has to see their father for so many hours a week and said father moves a considerable distance away (84mile round trip) into a residential home making visiting very expensive in a gas guzzling car (esp since I am now jobless ) Is it acceptable for son & his dad to have webcam visits? - I don't mean by this we will never then see him in the flesh but cut down the 'in person' visits to every fortnight. The techy person at Stagenhoe has installed a chin control onto marks laptop so he can type using it and it (the laptop) has a built in webcam so I can set one up here so they can see and communicate Can that still classed as a visit or am I pushing the boundries? Thanks
  6. morning lovely day here - washing out on the line, J off to a b'day party and Im off over the fields with the dogs
  7. Dolly, I wouldn't be bathing it in water if it's on the pad - as Billy said as will soften it too much to heal and will take forever. Personally what I would do is strap it up so it doesn't flex as he/she moves and put a boot on it for walks. I would avoid letting him/her lick it as this too will soften it. My friends dog did this recently but he had to have stitches and the vets were charging £15 a time to change the dressing! Hope he/she is feeling better soon
