Just heard from the vets regarding Larry (little terrier we found at the weekend)AND he isn't staying with her unfortunately! Her OH was nasty and said he drew the line at 9 dogs!!!!!! BUT good news is a lady who lost her 2 spaniels within 2 months of each other, happened to be in the vets with her cat....and has fallen hook line and sinker!!!!!! I will be visiting her tonight to just do a quick home check, but looks like he going with her!!!! She works PT and he will go to work with her...she already (as per phone call a minute ago) has been to PAH and he has got a new bed/collar/lead/bowl and enough food for a small army!!!! Guess I could be mean and tell her she isn't suitable...then I would HAVE to keep him myself!!!

Whoops so sorry Jimmy!! How could I make that mistake! So with fussy cats...then I don't know cos Cosmic Cat has only ever eaten Felix..she refuses anything else and I've given up trying!!! Hope the vet can help, healing thoughts by the 100's!!! The dogs are usually alright with food (apart from Crom but thats cos he has colitus and alsorts of problems!) but for some reason at the moment they are being funny!! Even Cooper who used to dance round me feet every meal time has to be called to his bowl!!!!

Oh I hope not, does feel like kidney area...ohhhhh maybe that's cos I don't drink anything other than tea and coffee??? Any how non eating dogs is my speciaity at the moment!!! Cromwell is currently on sardines in tomato sauce, with potato, rice or pasta with some dried bix mixed in (manages to pick them out though!!). Also give him hot dogs (not very often cos of all the salt) and tins of ready made stews (sorry I don't cook meat myself...never have and don't know how to!!), also been buying the frozen meat at PAT...but actually haven't given him any cos don't know what to do with it now!!!(Any help will be appreciated!!) Tiz is just being left and WILL eat what she's given...cos she's saying she has a poorly tummy but it's her own fault for eating the horses hoofs after they were reshod on wednesday!!!!!!

Oh yeah I got one of those lavender heat bag things the other day cos it was hurting so much!! I spent all evening back and forwards to the microwave with it!! They are brilliant! Still hurts though!!!

Boooo Flyball is cancelled for the next few weeks cos of KC going round, and them going to Crufts!! Really miserable cos I enjoyed it so much!! Anyway! Does anyone have any good training tips we can be going on with? Aside from the retrieving which Sidney does permantly anyway, is there anything else we can work on?

Okay friend has just rang again to say I really should try and get home soon cos our lane is now completely covered in 3 inches of snow!!!!! She said Sidney is getting snow balls on his legs and it's really p*ssing him off!!!! Got to get home and take some photo's of the horses too!!!!!!!! I live in such a biazzar place! My friend just rang to ask if I wanted hay putting out for the boys? I said no they are fine...then she said but it's 2 inches in snow and not stopping, they can't get the grass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm only 10 miles away and its lovely here!!!!

Wendy so sorry about Taz RMF : going to apply for a job today....got to be the most unexciting job in the world, but at least I will have proper hours and a definate (if not minisule salary) coming in!! Can't believe I'm applying for jobs earning less than half I used to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use the really cheap stuff (around £1.70) from Lidl...and it's brilliant!! I spend all morning in a stuffy office and all afternoon outside with the horses, and still seems to work fine!! I know Trallwn Farm did some reciepe's for MelP a while back?? Unless I dreamt it?

whoops just forgot about diet and ate 3 digestive's!! Oh dear!!! Really really peed off too cos flyball is cancelled for the next 3 weeks cos couple of the dogs have managed to get KC!!!!!!!!! Was so excited about today....now I have to go and help the farrier with the horses shoes and it's bloody freezing...was hoping to get out of it for a change!!!

Similar but not the same! Cooper has a rash on his neck and I've just been using boiled water to clean it then Aloe Vera gel. (From Holland and Barrett 99% Aloe Vera), apparently anything with less strength isn't worth using! Hope she feels better! Jacky

She (new baby) is well on the way to being a DIY expert already!!!

Best thing you can start doing Amber is distance yourself. He is obviously very upset (as of course you both are), and space can help calm things down. Thank goodness you have friends nearby to help.
