It was thick when I went to bed and now has all gone

Loads of snow today so not looking forward to journey to work plus not sure how will get Harry to childminders as no doubt the school will be shut again

We have loads of proper snow and still coming down ... really not looking forward to the work journey today and have in fact decided to travel by bus cause I hate driving in the snow

Two weeks into new job at the NHS and they have driven me to drink! Friday night is usually housework night so the weekend is free and I am sitting here with a can of lager and I hardly ever drink at home (also have a fag, which is ironic because the office building I work in has the largest ever NHS Quit Smoking Banner I have ever seen), because I save up for a good binge out on a Saturday night Ironically though I think I am enjoying it although have never had such a demanding job like this and mentally I am bloody KNACKERED

Me too On a positive note the three who were arrested for smashing up the face of our friend are straight to Crown Court in Wolverhampton on Tuesday ... shame! Apparently they were crying like babies at the Magistrates Court, they ought to see our friend Harry, he will be shedding many tears and endured 5 hours of surgery yesterday and his head is now enclosed in a wire cage, after wiring up his jaw, reconstructing his nose and cheek bones and having two metal plates put into his head and will be fed via tubes for the next few weeks The Doctors cannot believe he survived the attack which was totally focussed on his head.

Have not got a chance of catching up this week so for anyone that needs them and I hope all poorly people and dogs are soon on the mend. Started new job this week and OMG it is hard and mind blowing ... one minute I think I quite like it and then I think I hate it My brain has not worked this hard in a long time and I am mentally totally knackered. Being brave today as well and going over to Cannock Chase with Eddie and a friend who has a boxer. We all know Ed don't do big dogs but he has improved so much and my confidence is alot better, so am going to brave it She is coming over shortly, so we can walk them round here before setting off, so please can I have some "Ed ... please be nice" thoughts???? If successful, sorry should be more positive, when successful walk is complete will hopefully take some piccies of Eddie doing "nice" Polly is still recovering and only on short walks, so poor Polly will be staying behind and having a nice bath with OH and Harry

We have lots of snow and I have to drive to my new job induction course today Good start to a new job, as it looks like I will be late! Had an intereting walk though this morning

Morning all for all poorly people and pets Just off for new hair-cut in honour of new job on Monday ... HELP!!! Hope they have the bloody heating on full blast and the water is hot Thanks for the kind thoughts for Alan in the plane that crashed yesterday They say another 2 bodies have been discovered but have not named them yet, am hoping it is not another 2 we know We saw a picture of Harry last night (chap who got beat up NYE) and it made me We are off to visit him this afternoon and by the look of his photograph he is totally unrecognisable and the consultant has said they will have to reconstruct his face. The police have said that the guy arrested will probably get a minimum of 10 years.
