  10. best of luck, and safe journey
  11. well, i bought the corsa, some of the history with it was for garage bills more than what the car was worth so i know its been very well looked after, only 2 owners, its very nippy, cheap tax too the only problem with it is that its...........green
  12. i have bought a few tickets for the fiat on behalf of a couple of rescues, not that i ever win ought i have spotted on a garage forecourt a un-chaved corsa for £600 it looks imaculate for its age, i might enquire tomorrow
  13. wow thanks for your replies, i did look at a few ford ka's but they really dont fair well in this sea air, every one was really rusty thanks for the parkers link, i will have a look and see whats what and like most of you i am a ford girl, but as i need a small car as opposed to wanting one, with not too much spare dosh i cant be too picky and stay loyal to ford, still whatever i get has to double as a learner car for my daughter so i have to think of street cred too
  14. ive double posted, please can a mod remove one .....thank you
  15. i drive a galaxy which is great for the family and dogs, however, my job entails me to drive (alot of) the smallest of country lanes that both door mirrors take half the hedge with me especially when i meet another car and i have to reverse five miles so i want a small car that will double for my daughter to learn in so it has to be small engine for cheap tax and insurance, so, my dilema is what do i get, i quite like the daewoo matiz but ive heard they arnt very good, same goes for the fiat cinquecento and the corsa, so i wandered if fugees had first hand experience of these really small cars and what do you recommend........thank youuuuuu

  17. OMG my daughter has just said 'i want to do something like that at my wedding'
  18. thanks guys, as usual fugee knowledge comes to the rescue, she wont be bringing the kitten back here to the uk, as shes only here herself for a short time, so when she goes home she wants to take the kittten with her, i will tell her to start applying for a passport now then at least she will have one and it will still be valid for when she does go home
  19. ok so she will need a passport, are they a set price or is it a area priced thing, shes thinking of going home quite soon, is it true that they take around 7 months to complete applications
  20. a work collegue has rescued and hand reared a feral kitten, and wants to take him back to poland when she moves, she asked me about the pet passport scheme, wandering if she will need one, and how much they are, but i looked and cant see anything to say that you need one to leave the uk only to return, all info seems to be about returning from your holliday, not about leaving and whether the cat needs any proof of jabs ect nor can i find how much they are and how to get one if needed can anyone shed any light on this for me, thank you
  21. thats almost as good as mike hunt
  22. many congratulations to you and the proud parents
