  1. This lad is in a new home. He was due to come to Wiccs on Saturday, but he had already found a new home!
  2. Fate can be a cruel friend sometime. We all know that our animals 'know' things. Perhaps this was the only way Nemo knew he could stay with his beloved Bonnie, so he left his mortal body behind so his spirit could be with her, and watch over her always. Until the time comes for them to gallop together in the pastures of the Summerlands.
  3. :mecry: So heartbreaking, I'm so sorry Jen. Run free and wild Nemo :mecry:
  4. Just spent a wonderful day with Sarah H learning about Natural Horsemanship and how to work with Pops little jogging issue. Totally brilliant, and Sarah is a fabulous teacher. Thanks to Reds for being the demo rider. Thank you for coming over and spending time with us Sarah, we really appreciate it. You are a star! Lady T sends a naughty shifty look, and Pops sends a snuffle.
  5. Have a word with Paul on Sat/Sun Sarah.
  6. Aww, come on Spud. Chicken and ham is luffffflys! There's your incentive to be strong sweetheart.
  7. Not a solitary person interested in them, and they are just SO friendly and cuddly. Thanks for that link, I will have a looksee.
  8. Hi Helen!!! That would be MY Floss that you and Colin are just minding for me........ Jinxy!!!! And watch out for Reds and your horsey - she tries to nick LadyT! She will have designs on that handsome chappie.
  9. It started as a normal trip to the vets this evening to pick up Blue and Sheba from their neuters. I walk through to door to see Nicky the vet, Danni the vet nurse and a lady peering into 3 boxes in the waiting room. As I walk in broad grins spread across Nicky's and Danni's faces. So what was in the boxes?? A whole load of baby and young rabbits that some delightful person had dumped and turned loose at the lady's stables and paddocks!! She'd bought them into the vets and Nicky & Danni were trying to work out how to split them between them so they could take care of them..... yeah, right!! Oh, look whose just come through the door! So we went to pick up 2 dogs, and came back with 2 dogs and 9 rabbits!! :o : They have taken up residency in the hall tonight and have made themselves at home. We want to keep a close eye on the 4 tiny ones as they are a little undernourished at the moment, but seem happy and contented. They are all very friendly and very sweet. According the vet we have 8 does and 1 buck. So here they all are. If anyone would like to offer a bunny a new home, we would LOVE to hear from you! The Tiny Bunnies The Lops The Three Muskabunnies
  10. That would be brilliant Sarah, thank you.
  11. Thanks guys for the support. I'm a big girlie pants. That would be great Sarah, thank you. And of course as well as Pops, you will get to meet the rather lovely Lady T.
  12. Perhaps Loki thought his shoe wasn't the right style or fashion? Obviously he wouldn't want his chums giggling at him in frumpy shoes. Norty boy! Glad Dukey's ear isn't bothering him as much. Thanks for coming over yesterday. Sorry I was a big woosy girl-bag. I'm rubbish and not good enough for Pops. He deserves better than me.
  13. Evil mother! Spam is sending a psychic message to Auntie Wiccs..... Save Me! LOL!
  14. Did you enjoy it then? And I thought you was bored ridged with the slow coaches! LOL! Sunday? We had loads of fun on Wednesday!!! I am still beaming! I can't believe you got me to go over those poles! I'm glad Tara knew what she was doing. "Are you sitting comfortably Mummy? Hold on tight, here we go!" I love the way she looks round at me with those knowing eyes before we do anything she thinks I am worried about. She does look after me so much, bless her. It was HUGE thing for me I'm afraid. I was so chuffed when we trotted over the poles as well as walking - I got a bit teary!! Sorry if I sound a bit silly to all the experienced folks. We learnt loads more about Lady T, and her previous life to being with me. She knew exactly what the course was. LOL! "Mum, get off and let Auntie Lindsey on!" LOL! "Oh, it'll be the trotting poles again then will it?" I definately think we will have to organise a 'Hooves and Boots' ride. Plenty of parking for boxes etc at Wiccs.
  15. Stunning pics! Lady T, Pops, Me & Auntie Reds have been out for a lovely hack this afternoon. Much needed 'get away from it all' time for all of us I think. It was wonderful and we discovered a very special place that made Auntie Reds get terribly excited. Tara was very brave on the way home when she was overtaken by one of those horse eating monsters! (Tractor) She gave it a darned good staring at! And Auntie Reds was very brave when some cows tried to say hello! Pops went most of the way with a snack hanging out of his mouth!
  16. And Tara's mummy would like to book a massage while you're visiting!
  17. Take a trip down to Wiccs and you can do the lot. Lady T has very reasonable rates. Cakes, Tara Snacks, Carrots, Apples....... You might have to mud wrestle Reds for her though.
  18. I think I have just given myself a hernia....
  19. Pops has landed! Here he is with Daddy Reds, Pops taxi driver. Meeting Lady Tara for the first time. Tacked up and ready to go. A quick canoodle before setting off. Auntie Reds on Lady T. "After you Tara, ladies first" They could almost be hand in hand, or should that be hoof in hoof..?
  20. Now now San, you know Tara was only trying kiss you. Don't make her give you 'the look' (which she has perfected by watching MrsB) And just because she is beautiful, and its her with her favourite tree The new chappie. His name is Pops (made me think of Grandad Brynn for some reason), he is 21yrs old. He is 14.2h and gorrrrrrrrrrrrrgeous! He only has one eye, but it makes no difference to him. He is just toooooo scrummy for words, and a total dote. I welled up and got all tearful when I met him, lost the power of speech for a while and had to let Auntie Lindsey do the talking. I am like a child on christmas morning waiting for tomorrow to arrive. Pops has just sent me a text (he's a very clever horse) to let me know he is ready and waiting to come to his new mummy and his little horsey suitcase is all packed up.
  21. On a happier note, I may have some news..... that may look a lot like this.... and may be arriving here tomorrow, courtesy of Auntie Red's horsey taxi service.
  22. That is absolutely awful. I'm too shocked and sickened to say anymore.
