Combed a football size bundle of hair out of Harry. We have some sunshine today , for a change, but still a cold wind. I am fed up with this cold wind. It has been around all winter. I should be doing some gardening but it is too cold.

Yes, not an insurmountable problem. Probably an inconvenience now that family have moved on. He is in foster with 3 Goldens. When I lost Cleo I thought I would not have any more dogs due to age but , having had one or more at a time since 1972 it just didn’t seem right without a dog. I have trained and competed in obedience, studied dog behaviour due to having a reactive dog, and dabbled in agility. I have seen many changes for the better in training dogs.

Will do. I don't know where we will stop. My son is driving so I am leaving it to him. Harry was surrendered as 'he didn't get on with dog next door' Foster home report he has not put a paw wrong since he arrived- the perfect guest.

Front door lock jammed this morning and I couldn't lock it. Locksmith came and fiddled about with it to get it working. The problem is tyje PvC door is moving due to heat of the sun on it and then it doesn't line up with the locking mechanism. The sun shines on my front door from early hours. Once the sin moves round the door adjusts back.

Been out to pick up prescription and the wind in baltic. The sun is warm if you are out of the wind but the cold wind cuts right through you. Even with a hat on my head was cold and my face was freezing cold. I am glad to be back in the warm. I stocked up on few items as forecast is for snow for us tomorrow and rain and gales at the weekend

I love my air fryer. I have a two person size bought from Asda. It is just a small fan oven so anything you would cook in the oven , you can cook in the air fryer. uses less electricity than using a large oven for a small portion. Very handy for a quick ready meal. I find with mine it cooks quicker than normal so I keep an eye on what’s cooking until I get to know how long it takes. I use foil trays for small containers

Some blue sky and white fluffy coulds so bedding out on line. Probably won't dry but will get some fresh air. I also get half price electric this afternoon so the rest will go in the tumble drier. Carrot and coriander soup in the making. Had a birthday dinner last - very nice. Now to get back to more healthy eating after Christmas and New year.

Been bitterly cold today so have not ventured further than the bird feeders. Been reading about Dogs on the Street in Essex. ( DOTS) An organisation who help the homeless with dogs. Volunteers go out at night to give help and vet treatment to the dogs of the homeless. They have a sanctuary where they look after the dogs of the homeless who have to go into hospital and the dogs of those who have to go into hostels during the very cold weather but cannot take their dogs with them. An admirable thing to do. Settling down now to watch next instalment of the Traitors.

Wet here but too cold. Seems we can have dry and freezing or wet and warm. I am with you Eve, I never used to feel the cold but this year I do seem to be needing more jumpers and more heating.
