Then dogs walks, then had a tyre put on the Ranger. At vets with Snoops at 4. Tomorrow is Korky's booster. Need to change trigger camera film at Stock Green and pack ready to leave on Saturday for the week at Swallows Dance

Morning for you Billy, sorry I missed your post. Off for a shower shortly and shall take our 3 over the field. Snoops dog stroller wheel broke a while ago so I bought a 2nd hand Mothercare buggy so we made a "hybrid" out of the 2. You should see the looks we get, but who gives a kippers. Fingers crossed we should be on holibobs Saturday, I am sure the sea air will do him the world of good

I agree in 1 respect Pam I have always wanted a Landseer Newfie after I lost Nelson after being castrated. But, rescues and foster dogs came along. I guess I can not do it again to go and buy a breeder dog. I would hope if I ever did it and went to a proper breeder that I could post on here without malice. I do not think that people here are narrow minded like that. I have fostered and failed on various doglets. I have given the rescues a lot of support. But, and here comes the but, there is room in my home for rescues as well as maybe 1 pedigree doglet? If I do decide to get a Landseer would that stop me fostering?? I don't think so. Just quoted your post, not to critisise, but to use it as an example Pam. Kazz xx

Thanks Nige, it is appreciated. But I can not let Snoops out of my sight at the moment. He went down the Abbey fields in his hybrid buggy and had 10 mins wandering with the GSDs. I broke all the rules in the book!! No collar etc! He can not have a collar on, but bless Chasta. She has posted a Puppia harness for him. Hoping it fits. Snoops is coping on ham, Corned Beef, Steak all liquidised. My Dachsiew is a tough cookie. Laura, please don't leave. Hey, you need to agree to disagree hun. I know how strongly you feel. But at the end of the day, we are all adults here. I flipped my lid yesterday and I have risen above it. If I can do that over Snoops being accused of being agressive I am sure you can. Thanks Di I am not trying to judge the whole forum. But it has come from somewhere, never ever have I said Snoopy is a grumpy old git. Yes, when I was approached to foster him I was told he could be grumpy with people. I found that out the day I picked him up!! Like Nige said he is great with other dogs. My only problem is he is a bit deaf *or choice deaf* and we have to pop him back on lead to keep up with the crowd. Otherwise he wanders off in the opposite direction!! I just need some time out to get my head around things. We are due on holiday on Saturday to Swallows Dance, providing Snoops is up to it. The break will do us all good. Shall stay off all forums until I get back. But if I am needed for any transport runs, home checks etc folks please feel free to PM me. Thanks again

To who has told Fionna at Lizzies Barn that Snoops is agressive to other dogs, have the guts to stop stirring and tell me to my face!!! Snoops has been on many walks and not had a problem with any other dogs. I have loads of pics on my Facebook account (kazz Allison) if people want to see Snoops with other dogs that he doesn't know. For gods sake, how childish. Sorry I have to post this here as I do not know who is doing the stirring. I have enough on my plate at the moment without this. That is it I am off forums now.

Max GSD was from a breeder. Sadly we lost Max at 14 years old. Korky I bred, Tess had 1 litter and they were all tattooed in the ear with me as first port of call. I took Korky back 3 years ago as that is what was in the agreement. I had homes lined up for all 8 pups before they were bred. All relevent health checks were done. Dad was Haemophilia clear. Hip scored 2/0. Tessie (Korky's Mum) came from 2 German imports. (Hips A clear) Tessa's hips were 2/2. I would never breed again, but as a responsible breeder, you should take back any dogs that need rehoming. I hope that makes sense. I have always wanted another Landseer Newfie, but a couple of years ago I approached a breeder in Belgium. Basically she sent me pics of previous litters etc. There was a waiting list for the litter expected. When I came off the phone to her and looked at Mandy my Houndsavers foster girl who was Cancerous, I couldn't do it. In my opinion all dogs give you love etc, they all deserve a chance in life. I do feel that people have an inclination of what type, breed etc they want. I was always a GSD person as I grew up with them. Now I have a mini breed and 2GSDs. Providing any dog that comes here can fit in with the resident dogs, I couldn't care less if it has 3 legs, what it looks like. I guess what I am trying to say is my 3 come first, but there is always room for another providing it doesn't upset the balance. Sorry long post, but I hope it makes sense. Kazz x

Morning Sorry not had time to read back yet. What's POF?? Had a much better night with Snoops. He only woke me the once. He has been down the field in his buggy this morning with the Sheps.
