Why is my avatar, which I have used on another forum, too big on this forum? have shrunk it down to Photobucket avatar size and it still won't fit How do I get it to fit please? (There is undoubtedly an easy answer to this, I have tried for ages and am going to look very stupid when the answer appears)
  4. Hi all Not had a chance to catch up, so to anyone who would like one, and to anyone who would like one.
  5. Hello all to anyone that would like one I have just eaten camembert and crackers. Twas nice
  6. I personally do not want kids. I have never wanted kids. My 'broody' is a litter of 8 week old border collie puppies. OMG they did that to your car? No-one saw anything?
  7. Chester passed away in January, and I was not looking for another dog - not so soon, anyway. However Connor was finding it hard to cope being the only dog, so I half-heartedly started to think about another dog, then I remembered Harvey...I had seen him a few times last year. Harvey was tied up outside a rescue. After a media appeal, his owners were traced. His owners had split up, and Harvey had been left home alone for 48 hours at a time Harvey started to get aggressive when being put back into his kennel - possibly thinking he was going to be abandoned again. He was sent to another rescue, where he was not kept in a kennel, and has come on in leaps and bounds. And I have had the privilege of being allowed to bring him home with me
  8. Are you guys still doing this? If so can I join? Here is a quick vid of Connor training
  9. Harvey! Here is is with Connor And here is a vid of him super-roaching
  10. No worries No they wouldn't eat. They are designed to eat live prey.
  11. Yes, as my predatory bugs all have to have live food.
  12. Stick insect have bramble, oak, hypericum, hawthorn, eucalyptus, depending on the species and what time of year it is. Scorpions and tarantulas have roaches, locusts, crickets, fruit flies, waxworms, depending on how big they are. Mantids have flightless fruit flies or waxworms, depending on what size they are. Snails, roaches, millipedes and beetles have fruit and veg.
  13. lol only if he ate one!!! I was thinking about you when I was driving home - the weather did go downhill a bit!!! bethk - um, mainly I just guess lol. The herbiverous ones just get on with it, I never know exactly how many of those I have, but the ones that eat livefood are usually kept on their own so they are easy to keep track of
  14. Recovered? The first thing he did when we walked through the door was start chucking tennis balls at me
  15. Chester on the left, Connor on the right. I have 16 tarantulas, about 50 fruit beetles, 150-ish stick insects (about 12 species I think - I tend to lose count ) also millipedes, mantids, roaches, giant snails, and also four rats and two degus.
  16. Hiya My name is Sarah, and I am ruled by Chester, 13yo border collie, Connor, 18mnth old BCxpointer, and asn assortment of bugs.
