  3. The police/RSPCA should be spending more time checking out "folks" like this instead of trying to identify breeds for slaughter

    Auntysally..

Great to see you Aunt Sally! I've missed you and it's fantastic to see you on here xx
  5. I was only referring to my OH. I also believe that there are men out there who can resist or choose not to take things further, in the same way in the opposite situation there are women who do the same. It's not about blame. It's about thinking things through and understanding the consequences of actions.
  6. Are we talking about affairs or sex? I don't think affairs are excusible. (literally full stop) However my then boyfriend, now husband, had a one night stand and told me a day later. We had been together over a year and had just come back off holiday. I still feel angry but more so with the woman as I could never do that to another woman. She knew me also that OH and I were in a serious relationship. I feel she deliberately went out to seduce him and not to put my husband down (literally) but he is a man and was a little niave as to womens intentions ie interprets outrageous flirting as "just being friendly". Basically I don't think I could help a man make a fool, intentionally or not, out of another woman. If I were that attracted to another man then I would have to question the relationship I was in. I love my husband only fractionally less than my dogs but if he had an affair then I make John Wayne Bobbit look all man.......
  7. I'm a single woman in her late twenties, living alone in a rural area, no near neighbours. I have a Staffie x. I have a notice on my gate stating that "Dogs live here". My bedroom is broken into and a man attacks me, then tries to steal my stuff. My dog attacks the intruder causing massive injuries that puts this man in hospital. What happens next? Your thoughts please.
  8. I personally vote with my paws. My vet is possibly a litle more expensive than others locally but I trust her implicitly with both my dogs as she always makes me feel as if she loves them as much as me. There have been times when we have had emergencies and she's been on the end of the phone with advice. When my eldest had an operation to remove a lump, our vet phoned mid proceedure to let us know what she found and give us options/outcomes. At the end of the day, I would probably seek our vets advice about my own health over that of my GP!
  9. As someone who has worked in a variety of school I believe that all school rules should be adhered to because if little things slide then students push boundaries further. Parents need to support the school or take their children elsewhere. I do not necessarily agree with this school's policy but that's what it is. Student mufti days are my idea of hell as many students, mainly girls, dress inappropriately. It is embarrassing for staff and I have witnessed a scantily clad girl accusing a male teacher of being a paedophile because he asked her to do up her top. I have also seen these students walking to school and people leering at them and honking horns. Uniforms are good as they remove all religion and politics from the classroom and students are more inclined to focus on their education.
