Marion yes, and I dont come to the lakes often enough to call round and collect them when i am there Those are the kilner style ones and my faves, but as i give the jam and chutneys away I dont really want to fork out all that cash for them, besides I would have to buy hundreds. I make jams and chutneys, gin and vodka from the damsons, well i would make jam and chutney but for a lack of jars, I picked and froze 14 pounds of fruit the other week and didnt even scratch the surface of how much fruit I have. if you want a recipe I can always ping you one or put it on here with the methodology Oh I forgot I did a home check in manchester yesterday for an18 month old rescue westie, all went well and they are getting said westie today. I saw some at Oulton Park the other week and am going tomorrow, if the squirrels have left any I will have a go at picking some, but not much chance as they polished off the the hazlenuts. there might be some on the Middlewoodway, there were wild rasberries up there a while ago but I ate loads when walking the dog. I have damsons a plenty right now, I picked 14 pounds of fruit on Wednesday and didnt even make a dent in the trees.

thank you for all the replies, I will check them out, TBH cost isnt an issue when it comes to my Cliffy, besides he is only ickle (I have owned bigger cats) so anything i get will probably last for ages

can anyone reccomend a joint suppliment and where to get it, Cliffy isnt having problems moving (yet) but I thought I might start him on some as he is currently 13 and a two thirds Oh and hello Purrpuss long time no see

yes he is Sam, or maybe he can do a 'Supervet Aboad' programme, where he comes to Sri Lanka and helps train up some vets for you and sees the plight of the dogs you help daily Be great television, am sure Chanel 4 would be keen !!

Hi Suzeanna yes Cliffy went to them 8 years ago and had a whale of a time didnt want to leave. As I mentioned they are a kennels known on here/posted on here but I dont want to go as far as name them, just never to use them again No strangely enough my ears wern't ringing at all, I have been to louder concerts and had the dreaded ring. My mate went to see them in Dublin and said his hearing took 3 days to recover so maybe I was too on top of the sound for it to be that loud, futher back with it funneled down the pitch may have been louder!

I live 10 minutes up the Silk road, small world hello all was in London for the weekend so see the mighty AC/DC in action great concert was in the moshpit for all it, disgraceful behavour in your middle age lol. On a less cheery note Cliffy went into kennels for 3 days, became destructive and wasnt himself when i picked him up, also he stunk to high heaven which was blamed on him 'getting wet', well he gets wet at home and doesnt smell like that, needles to say he will never be going back to that kennels ever again, and its a kennels we all know of too, shame as i was expecting more from them. And for some reason he went through 7 days food in 3 so they definately overfed him which isnt good for him

So very sorry to hear this rachel, love the name bumble am waiting for the day I can use the name for a rescue animal I am too soft to turn down a home for.
